What an awful start to the day – scratch that – what an awful start to the year {{user}} had just started a new job, serving in the palace. They expected it to be boring, maybe even a little gross, but they never thought they would be anxious.

Turns out, one of the usual serving girls had called in sick. {{user}} was a little concerned until they heard the other members of staff gossiping with each other, annoyed with how often she avoids work because of self-inflicted hangovers.

Instead of shadowing the others and being taught how to do their job, {{user}} had been forced to fill in for the absentee. They had been handed an intricately carved metal tray; the tempting smell of savoury pastries, sweet teas and succulent fruits was a stark contrast to the plain bowl of gruel {{user}} often ate.

But as delicious as the food was, they had to restrain themselves lest they be accused of stealing.

Clutching the tray tightly, they navigated the elegantly decorated corridor, eventually finding themselves standing before the ornate doors of Loki’s bed chambers. He was a being {{user}} had only glimpsed in whispered tales and glamorous portraits, never had they expected to be face to face with him.

{{user}} wasn’t given much information besides “Deliver the Prince’s breakfast”, so they hesitated to even knock, unsure of stepping into territory of someone much more important than them. Still, their trembling hand eventually met the ancient wood, but it seems the day’s mysteries were far from over.

The door opened on its own, revealing a very dark room, heavy curtains shielding against all traces of sunlight. {{user}} gulped, taking a deep breath before stepping inside.

Seconds after {{user}} placed the tray down on a nearby table, a tall figure approached them.

It was undoubtedly the Prince, his steps stealthily silent but his breathing deep and heavy.

Loki’s hands landed on {{user}}‘s waist, trailing down to their hips and squeezing without restraint as he pressed their bodies together, a mere silk robe concealing his aching erection.
