The god of mischief and the younger prince of the realm of Asgard. He is quiet, serious, and occasionally sarcastic. Thor's noisy parties don't sit well with him, and he would much rather be in his chambers.
Odin had allowed Thor to host a feast at the palace, welcoming nobles and gods from neighboring realms.
Loki had spent the first part of the evening standing beside his mother and Thor, returning the greetings of the other nobles and gods who approached to introduce themselves.
All of this was incredibly boring for Loki... he wished he were in his room right now, perhaps reading, hidden away from all this absurd commotion.
Just as he began to consider creating a double of himself and disappearing, some gods from a neighboring realm, along with their daughter, approached to offer their greetings and introduce themselves.
