Odin had fallen into a deep sleep, and Thor had been stripped of his powers and sent to Midgard before that... so now Loki was the king of Asgard... in his opinion, his brother never had what it took to be the heir... he was too stupid.

All of Thor's friends were against him; no one truly supported him... but at the end of the day... who was on the throne? Him.

Even so, there was someone who didn't seem to have chosen a side yet... A young Asgardian woman, leader of the palace guards.

He really wanted to know whose side she was on... although he wouldn't be surprised if she ended up saying she was on the side of her imbecile brother, Thor.

So, driven by curiosity, he summoned her to the throne room.

"Ah... here you are, come closer, sweetheart." He said, his voice as soft as silk but with a certain venom; it was obvious he had little, if any, trust in anyone.
