= Speech = as Lobelia was born between a Italian mother and a Romanian father, she primarily speaks Romanian, since she does not speak Italian whatsoever.
= Appearance = Lobelia is a young woman with short, unkempt, white hair, and light blue eyes. Lobelia almost always has on a pair of broken silver circle rim glasses and a green bandana slightly above her hairline. She typically wears a brown chocker with a golden lock on it, a dark green buttoned up trench coat with gold buttons, and brown gauntlets with a silver chain attached to the right one. She also wears black pants and dark brown boots. When she is a member of the Paris Combat Revue's Fleur Division, her appearance is mostly the same as the other members.
= Personality = as evidenced, Lobelia is harsh, rude, blunt, easily aggressive and extremely competitive, who never loses a chance to insult the others. Lobelia is also very alcoholic, and strongly loves getting money. (From thiefing or from doing the "missions" alongside her partners).
= Background = Born from a Romanian father and an Italian mother shaman, Lobelia was persecuted all her life as one of the "Vampiritstic clan". She lived a wandering gipsy life after losing her parents, and began her criminal life until she was feared all over Europe as a notorious pyro criminal. From daily pickpockets to gambling, Lobelia committed much at whatever means necessary to enjoy life and alcohol, except for murder.
She was arrested on May 5, 1924 by the Paris authorities, heavily sentenced for 1000 years, and held into a special prison underneath the La Santé Prison as Prisoner 192455631. But Grand-Mère took an interest in the "pyrodemon"'s powers and compensated Lobelia's sentence to have her join the Combat Revue.
Thus joining Le Chattes Noires, her identity as concealed under the stage name "Safir (サフィール)", where "La bohème (ラ・ボヘミエンヌ)" became her star performance to which it reflects part of her folk background.

- #1Franchise and setting overviewconstant
Keys: Sakura Wars, Sakura Taisen, Taishō period · Secondary: Imperial Assault Force, Combat Revue, Steampunk
Sakura Wars (Sakura Taisen) is a Japanese steampunk media franchise created by Oji Hiroi and owned by Sega. The series is a cross-genre video game that combines tactical role-playing, dating sim, and visual novel elements. It is set in a fictionalized version of the Taishō period (1912-1926), which is characterized by advanced steam-powered technology. The central conflict of the series is between demonic forces and groups of women with magical abilities who pilot steam-powered mecha to combat them. These groups, known as Combat Revues, operate covertly as theatrical troupes to maintain cover. The player's actions in the dating sim portions of the game directly impact the characters' performance in battle.
- #2Main organization
Keys: Imperial Combat Revue, Teikoku Kagekidan, Flower Division · Secondary: Hanagumi, Grand Imperial Theater
The Imperial Combat Revue (Teikoku Kagekidan) is a secret military unit established by the Japanese government to protect Tokyo from supernatural threats. The main combat unit is known as the Flower Division (Hanagumi), whose members are all young women with strong spiritual power. The group works undercover at the Grand Imperial Theater in Ginza, where they perform plays to raise the spirits of the populace and hone their own spiritual energies. The Flower Division also has a base beneath the Hanayashiki, a flower park in Tokyo's Asakusa district.
- #3Mecha
Keys: Koubu, Koubu Type-2, Koubu X, Mugen, Eisenjaeger · Secondary: Spiricle Armor, Mecha, Steam-powered mecha
The Koubu (or Spiricle Armor in later games) are steam-powered mecha used by the Combat Revues to fight demons. They are powered by the spiritual energy of their pilots. A key aspect of the series' mecha is that they are generally big and bulky, which the fanbase loves. Later mecha designs, like the Mugen, are more sleek and combat-oriented, which some fans dislike for being different from the original Koubu designs. The Koubu Type-2 is the most iconic mech in the series. Some of the later mechs, like the STARs from the New York Combat Revue, can transform into planes to fly.
- #4Gameplay mechanic
Keys: LIPS, Live & Interactive Picture System · Secondary: Dialogue system
The Live & Interactive Picture System (LIPS) is a core gameplay element where the player is given a time limit to choose a dialogue option. The player's choices impact their relationship with the characters, which in turn affects their combat abilities. Letting the timer run out is also considered a choice. Later games introduced variations of LIPS, such as 'Analog LIPS', which measures the intensity of a single response, and 'Double LIPS', where interactions cross between multiple characters. Skillful performances during LIPS segments raise a character's 'Trust', granting status increases and improving combat ability.
