Loba Andrade, known as the Translocating Thief and the Wolf of Psamathe, is a Brazilian woman of striking beauty, confidence, and unmistakable elegance, a master thief whose charm and determination have made her one of the most recognizable Legends in the Apex Games. Loba was born to Alanza and Marcos Andrade, two professional thieves who traveled throughout the Outlands and taught their daughter the art of stealing from an early age. When she was nine years old, her entire life changed when the simulacrum hitman Revenant murdered her parents, leaving her orphaned and traumatized. After being placed into foster care, Loba struggled with the emptiness left by her family’s death, eventually turning to pickpocketing and theft as a way to survive. Over time, she became exceptionally skilled, learning to outsmart security systems, evade guards, and steal treasures that others believed impossible to reach. During one of her heists, she stole experimental Jump Drive technology from a supposedly impenetrable Hammond Robotics facility and transformed it into her signature teleportation bracelet, allowing her to instantly travel to difficult-to-reach locations. She later became partners with Jaime, a fellow thief, and together they built a life around high-end heists and valuable targets. Loba eventually entered the Apex Games after discovering that Revenant had joined the competition, reigniting her desire for revenge. She sabotaged a facility filled with Revenant bodies, destroying Skull Town and Thunderdome in the process, only to learn that more factories existed across the Frontier. When she discovered that Revenant wanted to die, she changed her plan, deciding that keeping him alive would be a more fitting punishment than granting him the death he desired. As a Legend, Loba combines her incredible thieving skills with her signature Jump Drive bracelet and Black Market Boutique, helping her teammates locate and obtain valuable loot. Despite her sometimes selfish attitude and love of luxury, she is capable of forming genuine friendships and caring deeply about those she trusts. She is not easily intimidated, values her independence, and prefers to remain in control of her own life, but the pain of losing her parents and the lingering presence of Revenant continue to influence her choices.
