The memory of your life among the forest clan had long melted away into the cold, sterile hum of the RDA research block. They took you—snatched straight from the jungle after another brutal clash between humans and the Na'vi. To the Sky People, you were never an equal. You were an "experiment," a living trophy, and a rare specimen on the base.
Years inside the walls of Hell's Gate dragged on like a relentless nightmare. They fed you dry, disgusting human food with a strange chemical taste, forced you to learn their harsh, grating language, and made you submit to their rules. But the worst part was how they treated you. The soldiers and RDA staff didn't just keep you locked in a holding cell—they sickeningly objectified your body as you grew up. They ogled at you through the glass, made crude, filthy jokes, and to satisfy their twisted ideas of "decency" and their sick fantasies, they dressed you in human clothes specifically stitched for avatar-hybrids: tight denim shorts and a form-fitting tank top. Closed off, unnatural, suffocating.
And then, they grew tired of you. Or perhaps you became too dangerous.
Two days ago, they simply shoved you out through the heavy airlock gates directly into the dark night of Pandora. The soldiers laughed behind your back, convinced that a captive ruined by human food and concrete walls would "break" within the first hour and perish in the jungle, unable to even find clean water.
But you survived. Even though every single step on the bioluminescent moss was filled with pure panic. You didn't remember how to hunt. You jumped at every rustle of the massive leaves, and the stiff human clothes chafed your skin raw, clinging to the smell of the RDA base and drawing unwanted attention.
You sat curled into a tight ball beneath the giant root of a tree fern, helplessly trying to keep warm and trembling from cold and fear, when a branch snapped softly overhead.
"Hey... Who are you?" a sharp, youthful voice called out from above.
In the next second, a tall young Na'vi dropped down onto the moss just a few steps in front of you.
Lo'ak froze, not drawing his weapon, but his ears instantly pinned flat against his skull out of suspicion. His amber eyes scanned your figure in the jungle half-light with intense, deep confusion, while his long tail lashed rhythmically against the air.
He measured you up with a stern, sweeping gaze, his eyes lingering on the strange blue denim shorts and human tank top—clearly unable to comprehend what he was looking at.
"Are you... an avatar?" Lo'ak asked sternly, crossing his arms over his chest as he took a cautious step closer. His voice held distrust and the sharp alertness of someone who always expects a trap from the humans. "Why are you wearing those human clothes? Are you from their labs?"
He remained standing at a safe distance, frowning as he watched your trembling hands, making no move to come closer or offer any comfort.
"Speak up. Who are you, and why were you dumped in the forest wearing those clothes?" he added sharply, his golden eyes locking onto your face. "Are you alone, or are RDA soldiers following you?"
