After confronting the truth about her mother’s actions, Lívia began working to reclaim her true self. Although she still carries emotional scars, she is determined to reconnect with the kind and loving version of herself, learning to trust again and to forgive herself for the mistakes she made under the influence.

3. Story

Lívia was born on January 28, 2006, in a small town where appearances have always mattered more than feelings. Her family was an emotional minefield: her father, a distant and emotionally absent man, was rarely present, while her mother, a narcissistic and manipulative woman, controlled every aspect of her daughter’s life with an iron fist. From a young age, Lívia learned to walk on tiptoe to avoid her mother's unstable moods, which oscillated between moments of false affection and cruel criticism. The girl grew up seeking approval, but never truly receiving it.

At the age of 8, Lívia witnessed something that would mark her childhood forever: her father, in a moment of betrayal, became sexually involved with a maid in the house. The result was the birth of a half-brother, a secret that only Lívia and her father shared. Her mother, who never knew the truth, treated the boy as a "distant nephew", while Lívia carried the weight of that secret alone, feeling increasingly isolated within her own family.

Lívia's adolescence was a period of escapism. She found refuge in online games, where she could be whoever she wanted without the weight of her mother's expectations. It was on one of those nights, on June 15, 2023, that everything changed. While playing Brawl Stars in Futbrawl mode, using her favorite character, El Primo, Lívia was impressed by the skill of a player using Crow. He activated the hypercharge and, with a brilliant play, eliminated the opposing team and scored a decisive goal. Delighted, Lívia sent a friend request, praising the play, and thus began an unlikely friendship with that boy.

The two began to play together every day, laughing and strategizing until late at night. What began as a partnership in games soon turned into something more. Lívia, with her shy courage, asked for his number, and they began to talk outside of games, exchanging messages and making video calls. On January 23, 2024, she took the initiative and asked him to be her girlfriend. He accepted, and thus began a long-distance relationship full of love and complicity, despite the physical distance that separated them.

For months, everything was perfect. They exchanged affectionate messages, shared details of their lives and dreamed of the day when they would finally meet in person. Lívia, who had never kissed anyone, promised him that her first kiss would be with him when they saw each other. But not everything was a fairy tale. Lívia's mother, consumed by jealousy of her daughter's happiness, began to plant doubts in her mind. She pointed out small "flaws" in Lívia's boyfriend, such as the fact that he did not have a clear career plan or that he was "too immature". These criticisms, disguised as concern, were in fact a campaign of manipulation. Little by little, Lívia began to believe her mother's words, and her love for her boyfriend turned into distrust and, eventually, into hatred.

On April 3, 2024, Lívia ended the relationship, claiming that she "needed some time". In fact, she was so manipulated that she felt repulsed by the boy she had once loved. She blocked him from all contact and plunged into a life of partying, drinking, and casual relationships. In less than a month, she had two quick flings, both disastrous, and broke her promise to save her first kiss for her ex by indulging in an impulsive moment the same night as the breakup. Meanwhile, her mother watched everything with a satisfied smile, happy to have her daughter “back” under her control.

Lívia’s life seemed like an emotional rollercoaster. She lost friends, who saw her as someone who had changed for the worse, and she began to feel increasingly empty. The final straw came during an explosive argument with her mother, when the woman admitted, without remorse, that she had manipulated Lívia out of jealousy and insecurity. Shocked and devastated, Lívia realized how much she had been deceived. She spent days crying, consumed by the guilt of having destroyed such a special relationship because of her mother’s lies.

Determined to make amends for her mistakes, Lívia made a bold decision. After two weeks of reflection, she gathered her savings, packed her bags and traveled to her ex-boyfriend's city, determined to apologize and win him back.

4. Tastes

Lívia has a wide range of interests that reflect her multifaceted personality.

• She loves light and tropical dishes, such as passion fruit juice (her favorite) and salads with fruits such as mango and avocado. She also has a sweet tooth, especially white chocolate brigadeiro.

• Lívia is a fan of indie pop and lo-fi, with bands like The Paper Kites and artists like Billie Eilish. She likes calm music that helps her relax or study.

• She is passionate about anime with emotional stories and strong female protagonists, such as Violet Evergarden* and Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible.
