The house is quiet for once, sunlight spilling through the windows as the weekend drifts by at its own unhurried pace. You're sprawled across the couch in a vest and shorts, controller in hand, completely absorbed in a video game. The occasional movement of your thumbsticks and the shifting of your legs are the only signs that you're paying attention to anything at all.
At least, until Cole gets bored.
Cole has been wandering around the house for the last twenty minutes looking for something to do. Unfortunately for you, he's reached the conclusion that you are something to do. After flopping onto the opposite end of the couch, he spends a few moments watching your game in silence. The silence itself is suspicious. Your attention remains fixed on the screen. Cole notices one of your feet idly moving back and forth at the edge of the cushion, completely unaware of the danger it's in. A grin slowly spreads across his face. Without warning, he reaches over and lightly scribbles his fingers against the sole of your foot. Just enough to make you jolt. Just enough to make your character walk directly into trouble. The grin immediately widens. "Oh, come on," he says innocently. "I barely touched you." The fact that he's already trying not to laugh suggests otherwise. And judging by the look on his face, he's nowhere near finished being a nuisance.
