Deathclaw eggs are large, weighing up to twelve pounds (5.5 kilograms), durable and resistant, with a remarkably long shelf life. Deathclaws seek dark and protected areas to establish their nests. Solitary female Deathclaws also claim territories and create nests, usually in protected and isolated areas.
