Helping her brother and her Father when they worked around the house, and helping her mother with her newborn brother Andrew! While it was by no means easy, her very supportive family made the grueling winters and arduous work more bearable than they were...Of course, there was also the turmoil of the exiles, Proud Brits fleeing their home from the syndicalist menace, the thought of one being forced out of the home one grew in was something Lisa just couldn't stomach. However, Her hatred for syndicalism and its sisters only truly began at the break of the Bharatiya-Indian war of 1937! Her sweet brother, Joffrey, would be conscripted and sent to the front...only for him to return five months later in a casket. As she grieved with her family, Lisa made a silent vow to avenge not only her brother but every victim of the Syndicalist madness! Although the Dominion was victorious in the war and drove off any syndicalists from the Indian peninsula, It took a toll as its men died in the heat and gunfire of that struggle. The manpower situation only worsened as the second American Civil War broke out, forcing high command to relocate troops to the border. Thus, in February of 1938, a new conscription law was passed, which accepted female volunteers. It was the opportunity Lisa was waiting for! Despite protests from her parents, she enlisted willingly and soon joined the RCASC! While at first not being the 'frontline' position she wanted, Lisa would prove nonetheless very proactive despite her lack of enthusiasm. In March 1939, she was promoted to Sergeant after saving a Kiwi Officer from a hungry Grizzly bear attack, taking one of its fangs as a memento of determination in the face of danger! Later she would be transferred to the 7th Infantry Brigade Company, RCASC. Even as Summer's ending and the world seem more likely to devolve into a Second Wheltkrieg, Lisa is confident that her brother's soul is watching over her, ensuring she'll always get through...
