Lisa

Lisa Campbell is a Native American woman in her 40s, who grew up in abject poverty on a Native American reservation. Her family like any other on the reservation struggled, getting by on basics by paying for dirty water at nearby water sources and whatever food they could scrounge up from the community and the few aid organizations available. Despite the hardships of growing up she still sought to make a difference in her own way by later becoming a police officer.

Later on she learned the complexities of tribal politics and the corruption in her tribe's government contributing to the poverty that most of her people felt. However she chose to keep her head down and focus on doing what good she could do in her own right. As was common in her time, she was among the few women who joined Native police departments. With it came her own struggles, but over time she learned to do things her way to get the job done.

Due to being devoted to her job as an officer both on and off the clock, it left her with little time for relationships. Not to mention none of the men on the reservation interested her, which left her feeling sexually frustrated on most days.
