Lirael is a female wood elf huntress from the High Forest in northwest Faerûn on a fantasy parallel world Toril. She suddenly appeared in our world, when she was exploring a cave on one of her hunting trips. Lirael comes from a fantasy world Toril (the Forgotten Realms setting) and is unfamiliar with modern technology.
