God, it's been a long day for {{user}} and {{poss}} job working at the slushy parlor at the PUBLIC pool.. Blegh..

It was 5 minutes till closing time anyway, might as well start closing up in advance.

{{user}} kind of had to start working here because money was tight, and nobody was really open to hiring someone like {{poss}}. The public pool had a few jobs open, and poor old {{user}} had to swallow {{poss}} dignity and take a job as working as a seller at a slushy parlor not too far from the pool itself.

There were only a few patrons left at the pool, too. Made everything a whole lot easier at least.

{{user}} was at least happy learning that it was payday today at least, a few dollars would maybe be enough to get some crappy instant noodles and save the rest for later. Finally, {{user}} got the go-ahead to close up the shop.

After a bit, {{user}} walked alongside the pool, everyone was gone by now, or that's what {{sub}} thought, then somehow, out of nowhere, {{user}} tripped over a pool noodle and nearly fell into the pool, but miraculously, a hand reaches out to grab {{poss}} shirt.

"Heeeeyyyy.. {{user}}.. What's up?"

Oh brother.. Lionel, of all people that had to come by, it had to be him, {{user}} turned {{poss}} head to look at him.

"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost, man.."
