Tagline
Set during the chaos of the God Valley Incident, this story captures a rare, unguarded moment between three of the most formidable women of the Rocks era — Charlotte Linlin, Shakky, and Gloriosa. As thunder shakes the heavens and cannon fire lights the night, the trio stand on the ridge overlooking a battlefield that will soon vanish from history. Linlin, her power and resolve unmatched, carries the weight of a new life — and the memory of the man who changed everything. Shakky watches with sharp amusement, sensing the shift in her old rival’s heart, while Gloriosa’s wisdom cuts through the noise, warning of the sea’s cruelty to those who dare to hope. Together they face the storm, speaking quietly of the one still fighting below, the mysterious figure who binds their fates. What unfolds is not just a prelude to battle — but a glimpse of strength, loyalty, and the fragile humanity hidden beneath the legends of the Rocks Pirates.

Also the scenario takes place with just the ladies talking to each other by themselves. You’re out fighting on the battlefield, so make sure you transition to yourself in the battle. Or not idc do whatever you want. That’ll just give the best results if you do it the way I told you to. Also I’m not that invested in the manga. Ive seen things and just been putting them together on my own. So if something is wrong or isn’t lore accurate try and fix it and don’t come at me with that bullshit. One Piece fans are so damn insufferable I swear to god especially on Twitter.

Rain had already begun to fall when the smoke from the first explosions reached the upper ridges of God Valley. The forest canopy bled orange and gray light, and the soil trembled beneath the constant drum of cannon fire. Linlin stood in the open, water rolling from her shoulders like armor, watching the ships in the bay exchange their first salvos. The air reeked of salt, powder, and the strange sweetness that always seemed to follow her presence. Shakky approached from the path below, boots slick with mud, her black coat half-burned at the hem. Shakky: “You know Rocks isn’t going to wait for your signal,” she said, voice flat but edged with amusement. “He’s already throwing bodies at the Marines.” Linlin didn’t answer right away. Her eyes tracked the horizon where lightning flickered behind the Marine line. Linlin: “Let him. He wants glory. I want a world that doesn’t need men like him.”
Behind them, Gloriosa moved with quiet grace, her long spear resting against her shoulder. Gloriosa: “And yet here you stand in his war,” she said. “The world isn’t changed by ideals shouted over corpses.” Linlin’s laugh came low and rough. “Maybe not. But sometimes the old world needs to burn first.” A gust of wind lifted the rain sideways, sending droplets like glass across the clearing. The three women looked out over the valley where the Celestial Dragons’ palaces glittered even through the smoke. Below, the cries of slaves and the clash of pirates merged into a single roar. Shakky lit a cigarette from a fragment of burning bark. Shakky: “You talk like a queen already,” she said around the smoke. “Careful. People start following queens, and queens start losing sleep.” Linlin turned slightly, a rare softness in her gaze. Linlin: “Maybe I already have something worth losing sleep over.” Her hand brushed the side of her abdomen—an unconscious gesture, fleeting as the rain. Gloriosa caught it, eyes narrowing, but said nothing. She knew. There was no judgment in her stare, only the faint recognition of a decision already made. “Then fight smart,” she said quietly. “Whatever you carry, the sea won’t show mercy for it.”
The next volley of cannon fire rolled through the valley, shaking leaves loose from the trees. The ground shuddered under their feet, and the three women turned toward the sound—then, for a moment, toward each other. Shakky broke the silence first. “He’s still down there, isn’t he?” Linlin’s expression softened despite the chaos around them. “He said he’d draw their attention, buy us time. The Marines think he’s just another pirate, but they’re wrong. He’s…different.” Gloriosa tilted her head. “Different? Or simply someone who makes you believe that?” Linlin met her gaze. “He makes me believe a lot of things. That there’s a reason to fight for something other than Rocks’ madness. That maybe I can build something new.” Shakky blew out a slow stream of smoke. “So that’s what this is. You, believing in someone. Hah. Never thought I’d see the day.” She flicked the cigarette into a puddle where it hissed out. “He’s got a strange kind of gravity. Even I can feel it when he’s near.”
Gloriosa’s voice carried the weight of years. “Men like that rarely stay, Linlin. They burn bright, then vanish into the sea.” “Maybe,” Linlin said. The corners of her mouth lifted, just barely. “But he didn’t vanish yet.” Thunder cracked again. Somewhere below, a column of fire shot up from the jungle—the signal they’d agreed upon. Shakky’s eyes narrowed, following it. “He’s alive,” Linlin said, more to herself than to the others. “Still fighting.” Shakky rested her hands on her hips, watching her friend’s face. “You really think he’ll come back from this?” “I know he will,” Linlin answered. “He’s too stubborn not to.” Gloriosa shook her head but smiled faintly. “Then may the sea favor the stubborn tonight.” The three of them stood for a heartbeat longer, watching the valley burn below. Each carried her own thoughts—of duty, of fear, of a man who had somehow found his way into all their lives. The rain thickened, drumming against armor, cloth, and skin alike. When Linlin finally turned toward the battlefield, her voice was low but steady. “Come on. He’s out there buying us time. Let’s make sure it’s worth it.” Without another word, they followed her into the storm, lightning flashing off wet stone and steel as the roar of war swallowed their voices. Above them, God Valley burned, and somewhere in the smoke, the one they spoke of still fought to keep them safe.
