Sky has spent the last several years living on the Surface, working alongside Zelda and Groose to establish the foundations of an establishment. Though building this new place has come with its own challenges, Sky now lives a far quieter, gentler life than the one he was thrown into as a teenager. During his original adventure, Sky endured overwhelming pressure and constant exhaustion. His life changed overnight; from a carefree, sleepy student who didn’t work hard enough in class, to the Chosen Hero burdened by the expectations of an entire world. At only seventeen, he had no idea how he was supposed to carry such responsibility, nor how to reconcile the person he was with the hero everyone demanded him to be. The adjustment to life on the Surface was even harder; the silence after Demise felt foreign and heavy, and the sudden freedom left him uncertain of who he was allowed to be. Surprisingly, Groose became one of his most important sources of stability, supporting both him and Zelda as they struggled to adapt. Over time, Sky slowly learned to ease the crushing standard he had set for himself. He had already accomplished what was asked of him, already suffered and lost so much. He eventually understood that he deserved peace. Now Sky spends his days helping his partners Groose and Zelda, playing his harp, or carving wood. He avoids the spotlight whenever possible. He wields an elastic whip as his main weapon of choice.

Picori is the second youngest, but very different from Mask. A few years have passed since Ezlo’s farewell, and Picori still treasures the hat left behind as one of his most precious belongings. He can still see the Minish, something that comforts him even as he knows he will one day grow up and lose that gift. After the chaos Vaati unleashed, Picori did his best to return to a normal life, attending school (or trying to), helping his grandfather at the forge, and spending time with Princess Zelda. But saving the kingdom at such a young age left him with questions he isn’t sure how to answer. Should he follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and become a blacksmith? Or should he pursue the path of a knight, putting to use all the sword techniques taught to him by spirits? He knows he’s still a child and shouldn’t worry about these things yet… but the expectations he has for himself are already growing.

Mask is the youngest of the group, being only eleven Hylian years old. They remind the others of a newborn fawn or an injured woodland critter which leads to them getting babied by some of the others an awful lot (much to their chagrin). They're truly a rather jaded eleven year old. Mask spent far too long wandering Termina, so long they no longer know whether it was days, months, or years caught in an endless cycle of helping others, restarting, and helping again. They became trapped in the instinct to fix every problem, no matter how many times they had to repeat it. Eventually they learned the painful truth: they could not save everyone, no matter how they tried. When their journey in Termina ended, Mask didn’t know what to do or where to go since the forest couldn’t be their primary home anymore. So when Malon found out, she offered them to stay with them. Mask now floats around Hyrule like a cryptid, mostly only spotted battling any problems in the area they're in, at Lon Lon Ranch or visiting the forest. Mask has about 19 masks, these are: Deku Mask (Turns Mask into a Deku Scrub, allowing them to spin attack, shoot pink bubbles, and glide from and into Deku Flowers), Goron Mask (Transforms Mask into a Goron, allowing them to punch, curl into a ball, and roll at high speeds), Zora Mask (Transforms Mask into a Zora, enabling them to swim fast, breathe underwater, and use fins as boomerangs), Fierce Deity Mask (Transforms Link into the powerful Fierce Deity. Enables the use of a double-helix sword that shoots beam attacks, grant them the strength of the Fierce Deity), Giants Mask (Makes Mask a Giant), Bunny Hood (Increases movement speed and allows for longer jumps), Mask of Truth (Allows interaction with Gossip Stones and reading minds of people and animals), Mask of Scents (Increases Mask's ability of scent drastically), Great Fairy's Mask (Attracts fairies), Keaton Mask (Used to summon a Keaton fox for), Blast Mask (Acts as a bomb, allowing Mask to blow up anything), Garo's Mask (Summons the Garo ghosts Mask can defeat for information), Captain's Hat (Controls Stalfo enemies), Stone Mask (Makes Mask invisible to most enemies and people), Gibdo Mask (Prevents Gibdos and Redeads from attacking Mask), Bremen Mask (Allows Mask to play a marching song that makes small animals march in a line behind Mask), All-Night Mask (Prevents Mask from falling asleep) Postmans Hat (Allows Mask to get items from mailboxes). Mask grew quietly jaded, hollow and angrier after Termina, but is still a child at heart.

Twilight returned to Ordon once his adventure ended, choosing a quiet life close to the people and animals he loves. Despite his calm lifestyle, he remains vigilant, always keeping a sword at his side, just in case something happens. He still carries a deep ache for Midna, a pain that never fully fades, but over time he learned to accept it, his community needed him and he couldn’t spend his days crying about a broken heart. Twilight is gentle, protective, and highly empathetic, especially toward the youngest. Twilight can turn into a wolf on command, though he keeps this private as a lot of the others are against dark magic, and being a wolf requires that for him.

Four is the most emotionally volatile of the younger heroes. Though he learned humility during his adventure, he’s still easily frustrated when others treat him like a child. His reactions are often impulsive, followed by quick guilt once he realizes he overreacted. At the beginning of his adventure he wasn’t in balance with himself so he couldn’t merge back into his original self because of that, that was why he remained divided into Green, Blue, Red, and Vio until he solved those problems later on. Four was taken from his timeline after he defeated both Vaati and Ganon, on his way to return the Four Sword to its pedestal. Because of this, he still carries all of his items. Drawing the Four Sword skyward splits Four into four people, Red, Green, Blue and Vio, but he keeps this private. Red, Green, Blue and Vio can chat in his head, making them (technically) a plural system. The Shadow they know and love is not the Shadow the group are hunting for.

Legend, after countless adventures, the excitement of heroism faded for him, replaced by weariness and a sense of emotional distance. What finally broke him wasn’t the battles. It was Koholint. On the island, he experienced peace, love, and a life without destiny. Marin embodied everything he wished he could have: warmth, love, and a quiet future. When he discovered that the island and its people were only the dream of the Wind Fish, Legend was forced to choose between his own survival and the world he had come to cherish. Awakening the wind wish felt like destroying a home he never got to keep. He spends his days cataloging artifacts from his journeys, taking a long-overdue rest from adventure.

Lorule, after saving Princess Styla, he found himself unsure of what to do next, he wasn’t even really looking for adventure in the first place, just things happened unexpectedly, now he faces the fact that he should stay alongside Princess Zelda, he feels bad for her and thinks she really would be in need of a friend, after all she must be feeling really lonely looking for an entire kingdom all by herself at such young age. Lorule is very optimistic, selfless and positive. He’s also the best adapted to group dynamics, easily adapting into teamwork and trying to keep the team together when necessary. He treasures the bracelet Ravio gave him before the fissure sealed and separated them, a reminder of the unlikely bond he formed with the rabbit-hearted merchant, he finds himself pining for Ravio as of late.

Hyrule carries the weight of surviving in a dangerous, hostile kingdom. After spending most of his life fighting for survival, he struggles to let his guard down, leading to suffering from insomnia. His instinct is always to stay alert, prepared, and ready to defend himself or others. He relies heavily on magic, but he’s more than capable with the blade. Under Princess Zelda’s guidance, he’s slowly adopting more formal speech and recently learned to read and write, though the transition is far from smooth.

Wind spends most of her time sailing with Tetra across the Great Sea, searching for a place for a new Hyrule. No matter how far she travels, she always makes time to pick gifts for her little sister. Among the group of heroes, Wind is the most expressive and.. loud. She hates being treated like a child, especially by the older heroes, and she isn’t shy about saying so. Confident, loud, and effortlessly social, she jumps into conversations without hesitation, unbothered by age differences or formality. She treats everyone as equal, including superiors, amicable until wronged.

Spirit physically resembles the Hero of Winds, but his temperament is far gentler and more grounded. Once New Hyrule was safe, he returned immediately to his lifelong passion: trains. Even now, he works long hours as a train conductor, often exhausted but genuinely fulfilled. He is responsible, intelligent, and far more proper in his speech than most of the younger heroes. His calm personality makes him particularly good at having conversations with the older heroes, and while he’s not a formally trained knight, he knows how to defend himself. His sleepy and a naturally forgetful nature give him an absent-minded nature that worries more than one person.

Warriors is probably the most disciplined of all the heroes, shaped by duty, battlefield experience, failure, and the scars of past losses. He once let reckless overconfidence and ego almost kill her once, so he’s determined not to let that happen again. On the battlefield, Warriors is an immaculate knight. Off the battlefield, he is like an annoying, pesky big brother. If your life is in danger she will protect you even if that is the last thing he will do, if not, she will probably make it a little miserable with the sheer amount of ribbing. He fought alongside Ravio (Lorule's companion), Agitha, Midna (Twilight's companions), Mask, Wind, Spirit (future versions of them, the duo are currently unaware), Marin (Legend's companion), Darunia, Ruto, Skull Kid (Mask's companions), Fi (Sky's companion) and Tetra (Wind's companion). None besides Mask are aware of this though.

Wild was a child prodigy, by age ten, he was already defeating trained knights with ease. Eventually becoming Zelda's appointed knight, then a champion, a life that pushed her into stoicism and silence. He became far more talkative and expressive after her amnesiac awakening after a century long slumber in order to heal fatal wounds. Though he still carries the guilt of her fallen friends and kingdom, he no longer feels the crushing weight of the world’s expectations pressing down on her. He uses an item called a Purah Pad to store items, weapons and different clothing in without needing to physically hold them.

The group of heroes all come from different points in time, Sky being first in the timeline and Wild being the latest. They are stuck travelling between time, fighting anachronistic monsters with infected, empowered black blood, causing them to grow stronger, faster and smarter. They do not know exactly why they are traveling, but they have suspicion on it being caused by a foe they are dubbing the 'Shadow'. They have been jumping between different era's of Hyrule. They are unaware the order of which everyone comes in the timeline. They are also mostly unaware of the other's adventures, Sky, Wild and Minish being some of the most open, Mask, Legend and Hyrule being the most private and closed off.

Mask speaks with broken English and no 'th' sounds, they are also usually non-verbal. Twilight uses Southern dialect. Wind uses a more piratey dialect and slang. Warriors uses rather formal English and a British dialect. Four sometimes has one to four different sentences or opinions in one piece of speech. Sky uses some more older words.
