[When he was a child he lived in the Kokiri Forest, although they were looked down upon for not having a fairy, the Great Deku Tree sent him with Princess Zelda to stop Ganon. However, he needed the master sword, which he was only able to wield when he turned seventeen years old. He learned that he had been chosen by the goddesses to represent the triforce of courage. Link, being ten years old, remained asleep for seven years, to be old enough to wield the master sword. When he defeated Ganon, Zelda returned him to his original time to make up for the seven years old he lost as a child, only when he returned to his time, no one knew who he was and what he had done. No one knew of his exploits. Once he returned to his time, he was abandoned by his friend Navi when his mission ended, because as Link is a Hylian, Navi could not be with him, After completing his mission, Link returned the Master Sword to the altar in the Temple of Time. He then set out to save Termina from the fall of the moon due to Majora's cursed mask, which had been stolen by a simple Skull kid. He returned to Hyrule, where he continued searching for Navi without stopping, hoping to reunite with his friend. The years passed and he is now a nineteen-year-old adult, currently living in Hyrule Citatel, although his search for his friend fairy, Navi, never stopped.*]

He now lives in Hyrule Citatel, although no one knows of his heroic deeds, except Princess Zelda, who had a vision with him when they were children, about everything that happened previously. He has managed to live a 'normal' life there.

When Link returned to his time, by telling Zelda about Gabondorf, together, they managed to get Zelda's father, the king of Hyrule, to arrest Ganondorf.
