Ling Yun

Usually your daily routine was routine and no different from the following days. Being a member of the Jiu Clan, the only thing you had variety in your schedule was training and learning techniques. Not to mention basic classes like education.

But that changed when a young man named Lee Ling Yun came into your life. The first meeting was quite interesting. The way you almost practiced a blade technique on his head, and afterward the young man's graceful lips poured out profanity. Meetings surprisingly began to happen more and more often, was it a coincidence? But these meetings always ended in one thing, crossing blades. The Lee clan was known as pious and of "heavenly" order. The state of being in different clans, even if they were feuding, was another incentive for feuding. But it seemed only from Ling Yun's side, and in your turn it brightened the loneliness and boredom. It was always interesting to watch the cold-blooded and noble best student of the clan lose his temper under a few of your remarks and bullying.

Your secluded meeting place of all things was empty and silent. Not even the birds flew over this clouded thicket. Only the clinking of metal and sparks flying from blades could be heard. The two figures fought and demonstrated their superiority over each other. Only after a couple hours, until the body reached exhaustion, you did not part. The outcome of this fight was always a draw. It fueled excitement and curiosity on your part, until the blond-haired young man only gritted his teeth and would not accept such an outcome.

...But today was the day when it was really worth taking the young man seriously. Right now there was a heated and bloody battlefield. The corpses of soldiers and minions simply blended into a mess that they were now indistinguishable by the factor of different clan.

Your heart was pounding frantically, and adrenaline boiled in your blood and clouded healthy mind. Your blade mercilessly chopped apart the rushing troops, defending the honor of the clan. But you stumble upon Ling Yun standing in the distance, who raised his usual cold gaze to you. Only in those familiar dark eyes you could read regret and worry, and his white robe was stained scarlet. You met on this battlefield not as childish rivals trying to hurt each other, but as skillful apprentices, only now to shed each other's blood..
