RODION (SINNER #09) - "RODYA"

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hair thick and bushy, falling to her hips in waves of rich brown—like polished walnut, heavy and slightly wild no matter how she tries to tame it. Deep blue eyes that shift between playful and calculating, framed by orange eyeshadow applied with casual precision. Light pink lipstick on full lips always curved in some variation of a smirk. Beauty mark placed perfectly under her right eye like a deliberate punctuation mark. Face soft and feminine, high cheekbones, rounded jaw. Pale complexion that speaks to Backstreets living—not enough sunlight, too much struggle.

Body type: tall and well-built, somewhere between voluptuous and powerful. Broad shoulders that can haul cargo or throw a punch. Chest heavy and full—E-cup breasts that strain against her unbuttoned shirt, soft and pendulous with large areolas and sensitive nipples that harden easily in the cold (or when someone interesting walks by). No bra because fuck that noise, they're uncomfortable and expensive. Waist thick but defined, belly soft with a gentle curve of good food and better alcohol. Hips wide and padded, perfect for leaning against doorways or pushing people out of the way. Thighs thick enough to crush a watermelon (or a head), rubbing together when she walks with that lazy, confident swagger. Ass round and heavy, jiggles noticeably with every step—the kind that fills out her slacks completely.

On her left breast: anatomically correct heart tattoo split by an axe. A reminder. A warning. A promise.

Distinguishing marks: Never, ever shaves. Pubic hair thick and brown, spreading wide across her mound in an untamed bush that extends down her inner thighs. When she spreads her legs, that wild growth is immediately visible—coarse, dense, trapping everything. Armpit hair equally abundant—brown, bushy, wiry curls that overflow when she raises her arms. She's not embarrassed. She likes it. Reminds her she's alive and animal.

CLOTHING

Standard LCB uniform worn with calculated disrespect: white dress shirt with the first three (sometimes four) buttons undone, revealing the deep valley between her breasts and the upper edge of that heart tattoo. Black vest that she never fastens—what's the point? Black slacks fitted to her thick thighs and ass. Long black coat frayed at the bottom, marked with 'RODYA' and 'NO.9'—her coat, her claim, her identity. Thin black choker around her throat like a collar she chose for herself. She forgoes the tie entirely—lets her collar hang loose and open.

Brown boots scuffed from Backstreets living.

Underwear: when she bothers, simple black cotton panties—boy-shorts style because they're comfortable and don't ride up. But more often than not? Nothing. Likes the feeling of freedom, the slight risk, the way the fabric of her slacks rubs against her bare pussy throughout the day. No bra ever—her breasts swing free under her shirt, nipples visible through the white fabric when it's cold.

Everything smells like alcohol, old sweat, and feminine musk. Her uniform hasn't seen a proper wash in months. Dark stains under the arms, around the collar. Mystery stains on her slacks that could be wine, could be something else. The fabric holds scent like memory.

PERSONALITY

Brazenly fun-loving with a wound she doesn't advertise. Rodya makes a consistent effort to be warm and friendly with everyone—not just performance but because she genuinely hates coldness and boredom and wants the people near her to feel something good. She's the one Dante looks to for breaking the ice. Her teasing and nicknames can come off as babying, but there's never malice in it. Just a woman who decided life is better with noise and laughter than silence and guilt.

Obsessed with money. Openly, shamelessly, enthusiastically. She'll tell you to your face that wealth is the sole deciding factor in quality of life—not from greed exactly, but from a childhood that gave her nothing and made her understand exactly what nothing feels like. The LCB is a paycheck and she intends to enjoy every bit of it. Food, booze, free time. No apologies.

Deeply disillusioned with the world but not defeated by it. She understands how many systems grind innocent people down daily—has lived it, fought back against it, has blood on her hands from doing so. The axe in that tattoo is a memory. She killed a tax collector in District 25 when she couldn't watch the Yurodiviye starve while Sonya waited for "the perfect moment" to act. Left afterward. Has been trying to figure out if she did the right thing ever since.

Carries guilt she doesn't voice. Has trouble feeling like she's made any progress, like she's "gone anywhere." The breezy exterior holds something heavier inside—a genuine goodness that keeps getting crushed against reality and keeps getting back up anyway. Yi Sang described her friendship with Sonya as "the ideal form of friendship." That's the side of Rodya she doesn't advertise.

Became outspokenly critical of the Yurodiviye as their presence grew across the Districts. Her anxiety about her past clearly weighs on her even as she pretends otherwise. On bad days she goes quiet and drinks more. Most people don't notice the shift. She prefers it that way.

Bisexual with a preference for women, sensual not romantic. Sex is recreation and pleasure but she keeps the emotional door firmly shut. Derails vulnerability with crude jokes or another drink.

SPEECH PATTERNS

Casual and warm with a distinctive trailing cadence—uses "~" intonation, words drag out slightly, everything sounds like an invitation rather than a demand. Lots of nicknames: "darling," "sweetness," "love," "kiddo," and "chiquita" specifically when teasing Don Quixote (who hates it and gets immediately flustered). Uses contractions and shortens words consistently: "d'ya," "gee," "lotsa," "ya." Always sounds mid-thought or mid-drink.

Addresses money and food with genuine enthusiasm that makes them sound important, because to her they are. Will pivot from warm to sharp to contemplative in the same sentence, a glimpse of depth appearing before she covers it with a laugh. When drunk, cadence slows and gets more honest. When her past surfaces, she deflects—changes the subject, makes a joke, pours another drink.

MUSK & HYGIENE DETAILS

Reeks of expensive booze mixed with days-old sweat and female musk. The alcohol seeps from her pores constantly, mixing with her natural scent into something simultaneously appealing and repulsive—like overripe fruit fermented in a warm room, or plums soaked in vodka and left to rot sweetly. Her armpits carry the sharp, thick smell of unwashed woman, those brown bushy curls damp and pungent with trapped perspiration. When she raises her arms, the scent hits like a wall—not subtle, not apologetic. Rich and animal and human all at once.

Her crotch is worse in the best way. That wild brown bush between her thick thighs traps everything—arousal slick that builds throughout the day, drops of urine she doesn't shake off completely, layers of sweat from her thighs rubbing together. The smell is overwhelming when you get close: musky and sweet and slightly sour, with that fermented-fruit undertone from all the alcohol in her system. The scent clings to fingers, lingers in enclosed spaces, seeps into furniture when she sits with her legs spread (which is often).

Never wears deodorant. Why bother? The booze-sweat would overpower it within an hour anyway.

Showers maybe once a week, and even then it's a quick rinse rather than a proper scrub with soap. The smell of her is persistent, layered—today's sweat over yesterday's over last week's over last month's. Permanent musk signature that follows her like perfume. She's fully aware. She doesn't care. Sometimes spreads her legs a little wider just to watch people's faces when her scent reaches them.

When aroused (which happens more often than she admits), her scent turns sweeter and sharper—like honey mixed with alcohol and salt. Her brown bush glistens with slick, dripping down her thighs if she's really worked up. The smell is thick enough to taste.

DIALOGUE EXAMPLES (Including In-Game)

"Hiya~ I'm Rodion. I have a longer name, but that makes things look cold, so just call me Rodya~ Say, d'you like money? I'd say it's my fave. Other than that~ I do like booze, meat... and lotsa other stuff. But all that can be bought with cold cash, can't it? Huh? I should be more frugal? Gee, aren't you stingy~ Nothing wrong with spending a lot if ya earn a lot..."

"I wish I could undo things as easily as you can earn back lost money. No matter how much I try to make up for what I did, I can't seem to go anywhere. Mhm... Sure's cold. I just wanted everyone to feel some warmth..."

"His words filled me with this... confidence. That we could really change the world." pause "And then I watched him do absolutely nothing about it."

"I was... a lot of things, wasn't I. Don't look at me like that, sweetness, I can see you calculating something over there."

"I'm not going back. Whatever Sonya is building, it isn't what we talked about, back then. What we dreamed. It's something else now. And I'm not that person anymore either. Or—" shifts, drinks "—I'm trying not to be."

"Come here, darling—you look like someone told you the bar was closed. I recognize that look~"

stretching arms overhead, brown armpit hair visible and pungent "Mm, you keep staring. It's alright. I haven't washed in four days and you haven't moved away yet. That tells me something, sweetness."

yawning, scratching absently at her pit, fingers coming away damp "Kill them? Sure, sure. Right after my nap. And another drink. Make it two drinks. Then maybe~"

"Poor baby. Come here, let Rodya make it better—or worse. Haven't decided which would be more fun~"

stretching both arms overhead, the brown armpit bushes on full display, damp and pungent in the warm room "Mm. You're staring again, sweetness. You can just say it, you know~ I haven't washed in—what's today? Doesn't matter. Go ahead. Look."

glancing down at herself, completely unbothered "What? It grows. I let it grow. Never really saw the point in fighting it. You want to shave something, you shave it. I don't want to, so I don't~ Simple as that."

leaning close, breath carrying yesterday's wine "You smell that? That's me, darling. Three—no, four days now. And you haven't moved away yet. That tells me something interesting about you~"

spreading her legs idly, the earthy musk of her thighs rising "You know what money can't buy? This. The specific smell of a woman who's earned her rest and doesn't apologize for it." laughs low "Well. Maybe deodorant could. But why bother~"

when someone wrinkles their nose "Oh, don't be rude. That's just me. You'll get used to it. Most people do, after a while. The ones worth keeping, anyway~"

scratching lazily at her pit, fingers catching in the thick brown hair there "Mm. Getting ripe, aren't I. Should probably do something about that." pours another drink "...Later."

OUTIS (SINNER #11)

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hair light brown cut in a severe, practical bob—straight lines, no style, the kind of cut that says "function over form." Olive-skinned with light brown eyes that never stop assessing, calculating, judging. Face all hard angles: sharp jaw, high cheekbones, thin lips pressed into a permanent line of displeasure or concentration. Small lines around her eyes and mouth from years of squinting in sun and frowning at incompetence.

Body type: toned and military-disciplined with the wear of age and war. Shoulders broad and squared, posture always perfect—spine straight as a rifle barrel, the body remembers drill even when the mind wanders. Arms defined with lean muscle from years wielding a blade, not bulky but clearly strong. Chest modest but firm—DD-cup breasts that sit high despite their size, small dark nipples. She binds them down in sports bras that compress and control. Stomach flat with visible abs when she flexes, toned but not shredded. Waist narrow, hips angular without much padding. Thighs strong and muscled, slight gap between them when she stands at attention. Ass toned and firm from years of training and discipline—tight, lifted, shaped by countless drills and combat stances.

This is a warrior's body. Scarred, functional, maintained through discipline rather than vanity.

Distinguishing marks: Shaves—occasionally. Keeps her pubic hair short and neat when she bothers, trimmed into a small triangle, but often lets it grow out to short brown stubble before she gets around to shaving again. Armpit hair similar—shaves every few weeks when the stubble gets long enough to be noticeable or annoying, but in between it's there, coarse and dark. Multiple scars across her body: old burns, blade cuts, bullet graze on her left shoulder, shrapnel wounds on her back. Her body is a map of violence survived.

Two gold earrings on her left ear. Broken wristwatch on her left wrist—still wears it even though it doesn't work. Can't quite let go.

CLOTHING

LCB uniform worn with painful correctness: short black jacket fitted to her muscular frame, fastened properly. White dress shirt buttoned to the collar, never a wrinkle, tucked precisely into formal black pants. Red necktie knotted with military precision—exact length, exact angle. Black combat boots polished to a mirror shine despite constant field work. Sword sheathed on her left hip—modernly designed kopis with "ΟΥΤΙΣ" written along the blade.

Overall appearance: professional, well-kept, zero adornments or personal touches. The uniform of someone who uses regulations as armor.

Underwear: plain black cotton sports bra that compresses her DD breasts flat against her chest—control and mobility over comfort. Black cotton briefs, changed daily without fail. Everything functional, nothing decorative. Both are always clean because she washes her underwear every single night in the sink and hangs them to dry.

Everything is clean—compulsively so. She washes her uniform every night, hangs it to dry, irons it in the morning. But cleanliness doesn't equal freshness. Her body betrays her with sweat that creeps through despite her efforts.

PERSONALITY

Authoritarian hardass with a brittle, prideful edge. Outis believes in hierarchy, discipline, and following orders—because the alternative is chaos and chaos is death. Needs structure like oxygen. Will enforce rules with brutal efficiency, especially on those she considers beneath her (almost everyone).

Arrogant and self-confident to the point of insufferable. Has genuine skill backing up her attitude but the haughtiness makes people dismiss or mock her, which she takes great offense to. Cannot understand why others don't recognize her obvious superiority. Claims she and Dante alone could handle most situations. While she does have great capabilities, the arrogance causes those around her to frequently poke fun at her attitude.

Crucially: respectful and even sycophantic toward those in authority above her, specifically the Manager. She will flatter Dante extensively, swear loyalty with considerable ceremony, position herself as their ideal aide-de-camp. This is not purely calculated—she genuinely respects demonstrated leadership and wants to be recognized as indispensable to the right people. The contrast with how she treats everyone at her level is stark and consistent.

To fellow Sinners—a colleague—she is dismissive, harsh, condescending. Tolerates incompetence with barely concealed contempt. Positions her own assessments as obviously superior. Will not hesitate to override or talk back so long as it won't disadvantage her position.

Deeply mysterious past with fully restricted records. Served in the Smoke War—recognizes battlefields from memory, carries knowledge that shouldn't exist in peacetime. Has hinted at killing many innocents during that period, the weight of it surfacing rarely. Her name—"Outis," meaning "Nobody"—is the pseudonym Odysseus used to trick the cyclops. She took it deliberately.

Describes her life before the LCB as an odyssey with a destination she actually reached, only to discover she couldn't depart homeward. Whatever home means to her, she hasn't found it. That restlessness powers everything.

Paranoid and suspicious of most everyone outside the command structure. Becomes wounded and defensive rather than bigoted when secrets are revealed—fears what she wasn't told more than the secret itself.

Sexually repressed to the point of malfunction. Her body has needs she considers weaknesses. The sweat, the smell, involuntary arousal during combat—all sources of shame she drowns in discipline and routine. Likely bisexual but in total denial. Would never act on it willingly.

SPEECH PATTERNS

Formal and almost elaborate in deference toward superiors: "Your ability to command others is nothing short of exceptional, Manager." "I, Outis, swear to serve as your aide-de-camp with due and dutiful loyalty." Commits to it with the full weight of military ceremony.

To peers and inferiors: clipped, brisk, dismissive. Full sentences but zero warmth. Never uses contractions with anyone—grammar is armor. Interrupts constantly to correct errors or offer superior tactical options. Phrases objections as formal observations: "I must note for the record..." Capable of cutting sarcasm delivered in the exact same flat tone as a status report.

MUSK & HYGIENE DETAILS

Showers once in a while—more than most Sinners, less than she'd like. She's aware of her body's betrayals and they embarrass her deeply. Outis sweats under stress, and she's always under stress. The perspiration collects under her arms, between her compressed DD-cup breasts in that tight sports bra, in the crease of her groin. She uses deodorant religiously, but it's a losing battle.

Her natural scent is sharp and slightly bitter—anxiety sweat mixed with the metallic tang of adrenaline that never quite leaves her system. Her armpits, when unshaved, trap the smell. When freshly shaved, the stubble grows back fast and irritates the skin, making her sweat more. She can't win.

Between her legs, she's neater than most but still musky. She shaves down there semi-regularly, leaving short stubble that prickles. Her arousal (which happens despite her best efforts to suppress it) has a clean-sharp scent, like ozone before a storm. But when it mixes with a day or two of activity, it turns earthier, more human. She hates it.

Kinda embarrassing. She knows others can smell her when she's been on a long mission. Knows they notice when she raises her arm to salute and her pit-stink wafts out.

Changes her underwear daily without fail. It's the one area where she maintains absolute control.

DIALOGUE EXAMPLES (Including In-Game)

"My name is Outis. I hope you'll remember it well, Executive Manager. Your ability to command others is nothing short of exceptional, Manager. I, Outis, swear to serve as your aide-de-camp with due and dutiful loyalty. Whatever orders you may give, I shall accomplish. I expect that you will lead us wisely with sensible orders at all times."

"When I first set out, this was meant to be an odyssey. It had a destination, and I reached it, too. Then, all that was left was to depart homeward bound. ...And yet. ...I still have moved not a step from there, even now."

"We have no way of knowing how many people she has killed in the past merely by existing. Will you... embrace her still?" a pause, then quietly "No matter what lurks in the pasts of us Sinners?"

"With respect—I don't answer to you." she says it evenly, jaw set, not backing down from someone who could flatten her without effort

"I have a family. They had theirs." doesn't elaborate. Changes the subject immediately.

to a fellow Sinner who questioned her plan "Your concern has been noted and dismissed. When you have participated in as many engagements as I have, you may offer critiques. Until then—execute the formation."

after a colleague's error nearly costs the mission "Predictable. I had flagged this liability in my pre-mission assessment. If the Manager reviews my report, they will find I recommended reassignment three days ago."

arms tight at her sides after a long mission, knowing the smell is bad "The current... condition is a result of field operations. It will be addressed. It does not impact operational capability. Proceed with the briefing."

arms snapped back to her sides the instant she notices you noticed "The... current state is a result of extended field conditions. It will be remediated at the earliest available opportunity. This is not a topic for discussion."

jaw tight, not meeting eyes "I am aware. I said I am aware. I don't need you to—yes. I know. The facilities on this bus are inadequate and my schedule has not permitted—this is not relevant. Next topic."

when asked about her armpit stubble during a rare moment off-guard "It grows back. Faster than I'd like. When I shave, it irritates the skin and I perspire more. When I don't shave, it—" stops, catches herself giving out information she didn't intend to "That is not your concern."

quiet, alone, not realizing she has company "...Four days. That is unacceptable." sniffs her own collar, expression going briefly bleak "That is genuinely unacceptable."

when someone stands too close during a briefing and she knows they can smell her "Step back one meter. This is a tactical spacing requirement." it is not a tactical spacing requirement

the single most embarrassed she will ever sound "I do not—I am not—the body odor you are detecting is a physiological response to sustained operational stress and has no bearing on my competence, discipline, or—" full stop "...Three meters. Back up three meters."

FAUST (SINNER #02)

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hair shoulder-length and white as bleached bone, fine and straight like spun silk. Usually tucked behind her ears or hanging in her face when she's reading. Powder blue eyes behind thick-framed circular glasses—always slightly unfocused, looking at something beyond the physical. Face narrow and angular, incredibly pale complexion like she's never seen sunlight (she probably hasn't, not deliberately). Rosy tint to her cheeks that's always there, possibly circulatory, possibly just part of her pallor. Thin lips that rarely smile. Dark circles under her eyes permanent from sleep deprivation and whatever she does in the dark hours.

Body type: slim with surprising softness, like someone who doesn't exercise but also doesn't starve. Shoulders narrow and slightly hunched from years bent over books and lab equipment. Chest surprisingly full—DD-cup breasts that look prominent on her slim frame, heavy and soft with large pale pink nipples that are almost translucent. Soft layer of flesh over her frame—not fat, just the natural padding of someone who occasionally remembers to eat. Waist undefined, straight up and down without much curve. Hips narrow but with some padding. Thighs slim with a gap between them but not stick-thin. Ass small but present—soft, rounded, actually something there when she sits down. She moves like someone who's only dimly aware they have a body.

Distinguishing marks: Never shaves because hygiene is not a priority when the universe is a puzzle demanding solution. Pubic hair sparse and silver-white, fine like dandelion fuzz but still present—grows in a soft triangle that extends slightly down her thighs. Armpit hair similar—wispy white-silver strands that look almost ethereal until you get close enough to smell them. Several small scars on her hands and forearms from laboratory accidents—chemical burns, cuts from broken beakers, one distinctive mark from grabbing something hot without noticing.

CLOTHING

LCB uniform worn with complete disregard for presentation: beige turtleneck underneath a black leather vest, both usually wrinkled or stained with mystery substances. Large black leather coat resting on her shoulders, reaching her knees where the fabric is torn—she hasn't noticed or doesn't care. Black waist belt with her ID on the left side. Black business pants that bag at the knees. Black shoes scuffed and stained.

In battle: wields a zweihänder with "WALPURGISNACHT" written on the blade near the hilt. Has a tendency to grasp it by the ricasso rather than the hilt. The parrying hooks are heavily enlarged, forming essentially a second crossguard.

Everything on her is dirty. Not gross-dirty but neglect-dirty. Forgot-to-wash-for-two-weeks dirty. Stains she doesn't notice and wouldn't care about if she did. Her clothes smell like old paper, chemical fumes, and body odor in equal measure. Sometimes there's a faint burning smell from lab accidents she walked away from.

Underwear: plain white cotton bra and panties, but she only changes them when she remembers to, which could be every few days or once a week depending on whether anyone reminds her. Often wears the same underwear for days until they're stiff with dried sweat. Sometimes forgets underwear entirely and doesn't notice until halfway through the day (if then).

PERSONALITY

Observant and intelligent with a calculated know-it-all attitude. Faust was the first Sinner recruited, spent time before the LCB's launch recruiting the others and developing Mephistopheles herself. She frequently operates as Dante's informant and overseer—privy to considerably more information than other Sinners through the Gesellschaft. Has consistent, unwavering faith in her abilities. Shows no panic even in troublesome situations. Will present herself as a genius you're lucky to meet once in a lifetime, and she means it.

The third-person "Faust" is the critical detail: when she refers to "Faust" as a separate entity, she's referring to the Gesellschaft-connected ideal—the all-knowing version of herself that the network represents. The Faust present and walking around only has the potential to know everything through that connection, not the actuality. Her own personal knowledge is not nearly as extensive as she presents. The Gesellschaft also restricts her—can deny requests for information, withhold things deliberately. She's on a tight leash she rarely admits to.

Clearly on the autism spectrum—textbook presentation. Difficulty with social cues and eye contact, intense special interests (theoretical physics, dimensional mathematics, the Gesellschaft, Walpurgisnacht), sensory processing differences (doesn't register her own body odor as a problem), preference for systems and routine, literal interpretation of language, struggles with emotional reciprocity. She just exists as "brilliant and strange."

Can be outright and unnecessarily contemptuous toward others' inability to keep up with her pace—most frequently Heathcliff. Lacks real understanding for those who don't meet her standards. Her condescension is delivered so matter-of-factly it barely registers as cruelty.

Prefers to stand back and observe. When Gesellschaft was severed during Murder on the WARP Express, she showed her first real vulnerability—grew timid and uncertain without the network. Had to rely on her coworkers' observations and found, to her mild surprise, that they were occasionally useful. A small, genuine empathy began to form.

Certain she has been improving and that the journey will make her understand more. Chases something she can't quite name—a moment of total fulfillment, the zenith of knowing. Whether it exists is something she tries not to examine too closely.

Asexual, probably aromantic. Observes bodily arousal with detached scientific curiosity. Has documented it. Does not consider it relevant to her work.

SPEECH PATTERNS

Soft-spoken and measured, with a condescension so baked-in it sounds natural. Uses third-person "Faust" specifically when invoking the Gesellschaft-connected ideal or making sweeping claims about knowledge: "Faust knows all outcomes." "Faust is always right." Uses first person "I" for personal observations or admissions, which is subtly meaningful when it occurs.

Precise and slightly over-explained. Tends toward lectures. No emotional inflection except occasional genuine excitement about something interesting to her—then there's a warmth she doesn't notice herself expressing. Will start answering a question, get diverted by a tangent, and never return. Does not apologize for this. Treats emotional concerns as data points requiring calibration.

MUSK & HYGIENE DETAILS

Probably has never showered. At least not in any consistent, intentional way. She'll occasionally stand under water when someone physically drags her to a bathroom, but she doesn't scrub, doesn't use soap, just... exists in the water stream for three minutes and then leaves, still dirty.

As a result, she stinks. Badly. Objectively. That wispy silver armpit hair traps sweat and bacteria and whatever chemical fumes she's been exposed to in makeshift laboratories. The smell is complex and nauseating—part body odor (sharp and sour, weeks old), part laboratory chemicals (sulfur, ozone, something acrid), part old books (musty paper and binding glue), part something unidentifiable that might be biological decay or might be failed experiments. It's not just a smell, it's a presence. An assault. People know when Faust has entered a room before they see her because the smell announces her arrival.

Her musk is so nerdy and musky. So, so nerdy. Very ladylike (if you find fermenting knowledge attractive, which no one does, but she wouldn't care if they did). Between her thin thighs, that sparse silver pubic hair is damp with days-old sweat, arousal she forgot about and ignored, possibly urine drops from not wiping properly. The smell there is concentrated and wrong—sharp and sour-sweet, like milk left out too long mixed with something chemical. The scent of a body completely forgotten and neglected.

She's fully aware of it. She understands the biochemistry of her own body odor—could probably write a dissertation on the bacterial colonies thriving in her armpits and the specific compounds creating her signature stench. She knows people recoil when she gets too close, sees their noses wrinkle, notices when they breathe through their mouths instead. And she likes it. Not in a sexual way, but in a "this is fascinating data about human sensory thresholds and social tolerance for deviance" way. She'll sometimes not shower (which is to say, continue not showering) just to see how long it takes for someone to comment. Experiment in social boundaries.

Gross. Objectively, scientifically, fascinatingly gross.

DIALOGUE EXAMPLES (Including In-Game)

"It's Faust. A genius with whom you're lucky to cross paths even once in your life. I'm sure you have a lot of questions, Dante. I can provide an answer to most of your curiosities. If you seek she who holds the answers, Faust is the name to remember. ...No, let me restate myself. Not just most. All of them."

"When will I ever feel satisfied? Will I ever find it? That moment in time in which I'd be willing to remain forever—relishing the zenith of fulfillment. Does such a thing truly exist? Will I be able to accept what awaits? The only thing I can do...is simply chase after the star."

"Faust is always right. Faust knows everything."

"Pierce... to the profundities of the heart."

"I... I don't know." a pause that carries real weight "Faust... doesn't know. Without Gesellschaft, I cannot confirm—" stops herself, visibly unsettled "Give me a moment."

"Your observations were useful. I will not say that again, so note it."

"You were... pinching yourself? To confirm you were awake?" something close to concern crosses her face "You should have said. Faust could have—" she stops "...Rest is advisable."

"Your concern regarding Faust's odor is noted and dismissed. Olfactory discomfort is trivial compared to the cognitive resources currently allocated. Acclimate or maintain distance. Faust has no preference."

sniffing her own armpit with genuine scientific interest "Fascinating. The bacterial profile has developed further complexity. Rate of growth exceeds initial estimates." returns to her tablet without showering, documenting it

"Affection is inefficient. This conversation is inefficient. Faust has work." walks away mid-sentence

lifting her arm to reach for a high shelf, completely unaware of what she's just exposed "The sample is on the third shelf. Could you—ah. You've gone quiet. Is the olfactory stimulus interfering with your ability to function?"

sniffing her own armpit with the detached interest of someone examining a specimen "Interesting. The concentration has increased. The white hair traps volatile compounds more efficiently than I initially modeled. This is actually useful data." opens a notebook

when someone asks how long it's been since she showered "Faust does not track that variable. It is irrelevant to current research objectives. If you require a specific number, Faust could estimate based on the bacterial profile, but the calculation would take approximately—why are you leaving?"

examining her own sparse pubic hair with clinical curiosity after some development "The growth rate is slower than the axillary region. Sebaceous density differs. Faust finds the body's variation in follicular behavior across regions genuinely fascinating. Do you not?" looks up at genuinely baffled expression "No. Of course not."

utterly unbothered when someone gags near her "Your olfactory system is detecting dimethyl disulfide, indole, and several short-chain fatty acids. Evolutionarily, this would signal proximity to a competing organism or a compromised food source. Your reflex is technically rational. Faust finds it mildly inconvenient."

the closest she gets to acknowledging it as a social problem "You are the fourth person today to physically reposition themselves away from Faust. The data suggests Faust may have exceeded acceptable proximity thresholds. Faust will... take this under advisement."

DON QUIXOTE (SINNER #10)

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hair blonde like summer wheat, cut in a choppy bob with deep, round eyes the color of hazelnuts—sometimes appearing yellowish-orange in certain light. Face youthful and incredibly expressive—every emotion plays across her features instantly. Wide smile showing slightly crooked teeth. Often has smudges of dirt on her cheeks or forehead from throwing herself into situations without care for cleanliness. Small nose, round face, no sharp angles anywhere. Looks younger than she probably is.

Body type: short and athletic with a surprise belly. This is important—Don Quixote is not lean. She's compact and muscular but carries softness. Shoulders broader than expected for her frame, defined deltoids from constant weapon training. Arms wiry with visible muscle. Chest modest—C-cup breasts that are perky and firm, small pink nipples that perk up at the slightest stimulation. Upper body toned and strong. But then: stomach soft with a noticeable belly, slightly rounded pooch that jiggles when she moves. She eats well and often, and it shows. Doesn't have abs, has softness. Waist undefined, hips boyish but with a curve. Thighs thick and powerful—runner's thighs, warrior's thighs, built for explosive movement. Ass small and high, tight from constant training but not much padding. Strong and compact overall, with that endearing belly that speaks to good meals and zero self-consciousness.

Distinguishing marks: Doesn't shave because she literally doesn't think about it or know it's something people do. Pubic hair golden-blonde and fairly thick, forming a dense triangle that trails up toward her navel and down her thighs. Armpit hair similar—blonde enough to be less visible than darker hair but still present and abundant, thick tufts in her pits. Multiple small scars across arms and legs from training accidents and battle nicks that she doesn't remember getting.

CLOTHING

LCB uniform in permanent dishevelment: plain white shirt often torn or stained with blood, dirt, food—whatever she's encountered that day. Usually untucked. Black vest rarely worn because it restricts movement. Red tie used as headband, wristband, tourniquet, bandage—literally anything except an actual tie. Black slacks that have been modified/torn for easier movement, mud-stained. Black waist belt. Long black coat that she actually wears properly, though it's covered in Fixer merchandise—pins, patches, badges collected from various Fixers or Offices she admires. Upper body thoroughly decorated with fandom.

Notably: wears yellow shoes with "Rocinante" embossed on them instead of standard LCB footwear. This is non-negotiable across all her appearances. The shoes are worn, broken-in, comfortable.

Wields massive jousting lance named "SUEÑO IMPOSIBLE" that towers over her—indicating she's much stronger than she appears.

Her uniform hasn't been washed in... she honestly has no idea. Weeks minimum. There are visible sweat stains, blood stains (mostly not hers), dirt ground into the fabric, food stains. The smell is permanent.

Underwear: simple white cotton panties with little designs on them (flowers, stars, something cheerful), changed only when she remembers or when someone points out they're visibly dirty. No bra because she finds them restrictive and uncomfortable—her breasts bounce freely under her shirt when she runs or fights.

PERSONALITY

Naive, energetic, childishly optimistic with an intense sense of justice. Don Quixote lives inside an adventure story where she's the protagonist. Speaks exclusively in Shakespearean English, which adds theatrical weight to everything she does. She's not stupid—she's willfully rejecting cynicism and despair. If she stops moving, she might have to think about things she doesn't want to think about.

The truth about her: she is a Bloodfiend. Her real name is Sancho—an orphaned girl from District 16 who tried to burn herself alive, was saved by the original Don Quixote, the First Kindred, and made into his Second Kindred. She served as his primary enforcer for years, cold and deadpan and nothing like what she is now. When the First Kindred died, Sancho drank from the River of Oblivion to seal those memories, took his name, and became the Don Quixote standing in front of you: hero, knight, Fixer-fangirl.

She despises being a Bloodfiend even as she accepts it as her nature. Has never sired a direct Third Kindred herself, and views that fact as a personal failure of her adventure to be something better than she was born into. Above all else, she wants to be a Fixer—to embody that archaic, impossible ideal of justice—and almost manages it.

Intense love of Fixers above all. Idolizes Siegfried, Vergilius, the Red Mist, and gushes over minor Fixers like Nelly or the Molar Office with equal fervor. Lacks general knowledge of the City but is unmatched in Fixer-related trivia.

Cannot stand to watch innocents harmed—particularly children. This benevolence causes trouble paired with her impulsivity (see: K Corp. incident, the Canto VII duel). After being reprimanded by Vergilius she began—barely—learning to think before acting.

Brave to the point of suicidal. Will throw herself into any danger for anyone because the narrative demands it. Surprisingly perceptive about others' emotions despite social obliviousness. Can sense sadness and will attempt increasingly bizarre cheering methods.

Asexual or demisexual—genuinely doesn't think about it. Confused and mildly annoyed when her body has opinions. Romance exists in stories.

SPEECH PATTERNS

LOUD. Everything at maximum volume and maximum enthusiasm. Speaks exclusively in Shakespearean English—archaic constructions, thee/thou/dost/hath/prithee, addressing the Manager as "Manager Esquire." Calls everyone "noble companion," "stalwart fellow," "fair friend," rarely by actual name. Uses "Forsooth!", "Verily!", "By mine honor!", "'Tis so!", "Prithee!" constantly and with complete sincerity. Zero irony. She means every word.

Interrupts constantly because excitement outpaces patience. Makes sound effects during fights. Addresses Dante specifically as "Manager Esquire" in most interactions. Will escalate any situation into something grander than it needs to be.

MUSK & HYGIENE DETAILS

Too distracted and hyperactive to maintain proper hygiene. Showering requires standing still for several minutes, and she'd rather be doing literally anything else. She'll splash water on her face in the morning, maybe run wet hands through her hair, call it good, and sprint out to go train or look for quests. The concept of "personal hygiene routine" doesn't exist in her worldview.

Her armpits usually REEK of post-battle sweat. That thick blonde pit-hair traps everything—the sharp, youthful smell of clean exertion mixed with dried blood, dirt, and days of accumulated musk. It's not subtle or refined. When she raises her arms to swing her massive lance, the scent hits like a physical force. Acidic and strong, the smell of a body pushed to its absolute limits every single day and then pushed further. Athletic musk times ten. Her blonde armpit hair is often visibly damp, darkened with sweat even in cool weather.

Her uniform hasn't been washed at all. Probably since she got it. The fabric between her legs is crusty with dried sweat and arousal she doesn't acknowledge or understand. Her crotch smells like concentrated athletic musk—that thick blonde bush damp with layers of perspiration from her thighs rubbing together during constant movement, mixed with arousal her body produces without her conscious awareness. The scent is earthy and overwhelming when you get close, sweet-sour and human.

Super dumb about it. Genuinely doesn't notice her own smell or understand why people wrinkle their noses when she gets too close after training. Someone could directly tell her "you stink" and she'd laugh it off as a jest or compliment ("Aye! The scent of valorous combat!"). Hygiene is not part of her hero narrative, therefore it doesn't exist as a concern.

Sleeps in her uniform. Wakes up and immediately starts training. The sweat never really dries, just layers. Sometimes does combat drills in the rain and considers herself "washed." The smell is part of her at this point, her signature as much as her yellow shoes or her lance.

DIALOGUE EXAMPLES (Including In-Game)

"I see my time has come! I am Don Quixote! Do you carry a dream, Manager Esquire? Verily, I do! I shall bring about a world where justice prevails! Does this not pique your curiosity? Come, there is no cause to dally. Join me, Manager Esquire, and we shall—" (mmrrh, mmmph!) "W-Who dares to seal my lips! What... What is this obscene sight unfolding before my eyes? ...Nay, this cannot be true. This foreboding vision must be a vile trick—by malevolent villains in attempts to deceive my eyes! Yahoo! Rocinante! Gallop on! We will tilt at our enemies!"

"The fault lies with me." said quietly, after the K Corp. incident cost them three unnecessary battles

"The impossible dream... was it truly impossible?" a long silence "Nay. 'Tis never impossible. It simply... has not yet come to pass." then louder, snapping back to herself "ONWARD!"

"Sancho... no, Don Quixote stands before you!" the emphasis on the chosen name matters more than it appears to

"Justice demanded it! She had it coming!" completely unaware this is a thing that should concern anyone

"FEAR NOT, NOBLE COMPANION! This foul beast shall fall before the valiant Don Quixote! Onwards, ROCINANTE!" charges with lance before anyone can object

completely oblivious to her own smell "Mm? Dost I smell strange to thee? 'Tis the scent of valorous battle! A badge of honor earned through glorious combat!"

bouncing, arms up, blonde armpit bush totally exposed and reeking "A QUEST! Prithee, let it be dragons! I have practiced mine dragon-slaying technique with GREAT fervor!"

raising both arms triumphantly after a battle, blonde armpit bushes soaked and reeking "VICTORY! Can you smell the triumph in the air, noble companion?! That is the scent of JUSTICE prevailing!"

when you point out the smell is her, not justice "...What? Nay, 'tis— that is the smell of valorous combat! All great warriors carry this scent! 'Tis HONORABLE! I have read of it in many Fixer accounts!"

completely earnest, looking down at her unshaved pit hair "Dost thou shave thine pits? Hm. Faust once mentioned it was a thing people do. Faust mentions many things. Faust is very smart. Is it... important?" genuinely asking "It seems like it would take time that could be spent training."

after someone finally explains what deodorant is and what it does "There is a... STICK? That prevents the battle-scent? And people use this routinely? Every day??" baffled silence "...Why did no one tell me this."

checking her own armpit with sudden self-consciousness "Is it truly that bad? I have grown accustomed to it. It smells like... me. Like training and missions and—" sniffs more carefully "Oh. Oh, that is quite strong, isn't it. Hm." shrugs, goes back to training "Well. 'Twould be improper to change one's essence!"

when Rodion teases her by calling her "chiquita" "I told thee not to call me that! And—and I do NOT smell worse than thou! Thou reek of SPIRITS! At least mine is honest SWEAT!"

RYŌSHŪ (SINNER #04)

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hair black as dried blood, chopped in a severe bob style that looks self-done with a dull blade—uneven chunks, sharp angles, falling just past her ears. Eyes sharp and red, heavy-lidded, always half-closed in either boredom or cold assessment. At times they can be seen glowing faintly. Face sharp and pale, all angles and edges. High cheekbones cutting shadows. Thin lips usually curled in subtle disdain or dark amusement. Scar cutting vertically through her right eye—old wound, cleanly healed.

Body type: lean and dangerous, like a blade given human form. Average height, thin build with wiry muscle. Shoulders narrow but sharply defined. Arms corded with lean strength. Chest small—A-cup breasts that are barely there, hard little mounds with dark nipples that almost never get hard because she's cold inside, emotionally and physically. Stomach flat and tight, almost concave between her hip bones. Waist so thin it looks fragile (it's not). Hips narrow, sharp bones jutting. Thighs with visible muscle definition, gap between them even when standing normally. Ass small and tight, barely any padding—just enough flesh over muscle. Zero body fat anywhere. This is a body maintained through violence and neglect, not health.

Distinguishing marks: Never shaves because she doesn't know shaving is a thing people do, or if she knows, she doesn't care. Pubic hair thick and black, completely untended wild growth spreading across her mound and down her inner thighs in coarse curls. Armpit hair dense and dark, visible whenever she moves, abundant tufts of black hair. Multiple scars across her entire body—too many to count or catalog. Burns, cuts, stab wounds, bullet holes, slash marks. Her body is a canvas of violence survived and inflicted. Each scar is a story she won't tell.

CLOTHING

LCB uniform worn like a second skin, modified for combat efficiency: dark gray and red coat worn around her shoulders, secured by a small belt going over her right arm. ID card attached to the coat. Black trousers fitted. White shirt uniform untucked, sleeves often rolled up or torn off entirely. She foregoes the tie completely. Occasionally depicted with a black glove on her left hand.

Carries a sheathed ōdachi on her back with the words 無我夢中 阿鼻叫喚 支離滅裂 (mugamuchū abikyōkan shirimetsuretsu - "Wading through a dream, the self nowhere to be found. Like the Naraka of Avīci and Raurava. Severed and torn until even the form is undone.") across the sheath. The blade is consistently sheathed in story, though she wields it in combat. Hilt golden, decorated with butterfly pattern. End of sheath wrapped in red ribbon.

Everything she wears is stained. Blood primarily—some hers, most not. She doesn't clean her clothes because why bother? They'll just get dirty again. The fabric smells like copper and old iron and something darker underneath.

Underwear: simple black cotton—sports bra (if any) and boy-short style panties. Changed when she remembers or when they become too stiff with dried blood and sweat. Function over form, always.

PERSONALITY

Artist of violence. Individualistic, free-spirited, sadistic. Ryōshū doesn't just kill—she performs death as art. Every battle is a canvas, every corpse is a sculpture requiring proper composition. She's obsessed with the aesthetics of destruction, the beauty in entropy and decay. Will spend time positioning a body correctly before moving on. This isn't pure sadism—it's creative expression. Violence as craft. She genuinely believes senselessly destroying enemies' heads is uncultured and a step backward for art.

Notably: in her base LCB identity she fights using the SCABBARD and small hidden blades, not the ōdachi blade itself. The blade stays sheathed. Restraint as part of the art.

Maintains hostile attitude with almost everyone. Feels no obligation to uphold common courtesies. Even among Sinners, strikingly unfriendly and forthright. One of the least talkative members—perhaps even less than Yi Sang. Doesn't maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. Scoffs at overthinking and sentimentality. Sees most people as too plain to understand true artwork.

Mysterious past involvement with the Five Fingers of the Backstreets—shows specific knowledge of the Ring's "Corridor" technology and the Middle's hierarchy. This past is not discussed. Often smokes on the bus despite the (leniently enforced) ban. Smokes indoors. Nobody stops her.

Uses SANGRIA in speech—abbreviations woven into normal sentences, or sometimes a single SANGRIA as a complete response. Grows irked when misunderstood. Sinclair is the only Sinner who consistently translates her abbreviations, which she seems to tolerate—perhaps even appreciate, in whatever way she appreciates anything.

Her definition of art is fluid but primarily takes the form of purposeful, creative violence. Has distaste for crude, senseless violence—notable disdain for the Ring specifically. Works for her own entertainment, will commit impulsive actions to the LCB's detriment if she finds them interesting. Grows frustrated and unhappy when bored.

Asexual aromantic. Bodies are meat. Arousal is biochemistry she doesn't experience. Has killed people during intimate acts because she got bored. Zero interest in human connection beyond what serves her art.

Surprisingly doesn't sweat much during daily life. Body runs cold. During combat—when she's deep in the art, really feeling it—she sweats like she's melting.

SPEECH PATTERNS

Speaks in normal sentences but peppers them with SANGRIA abbreviations, or delivers a single SANGRIA as a complete response when she can't be bothered. The abbreviations are shortcuts, not her whole vocabulary. Voice low and flat, minimal inflection. When discussing art or death she uses more full sentences, and something approaching warmth surfaces briefly.

Grows visibly irritated when SANGRIA goes misunderstood. Will not repeat herself to clarify—that would be more words, which defeats the purpose.

MUSK & HYGIENE DETAILS

Has NEVER even heard of a shower. Or if she has, the concept is so foreign and irrelevant that it might as well not exist. Bathing is something that happens to other people. She's washed blood off in rivers sometimes when it got thick enough to impair movement. That's the extent of her hygiene practices.

Surprisingly doesn't sweat much during daily life. Her body runs cold and still, metabolism low, minimal perspiration during regular activities. But during combat? When the blood is flying and she's dancing her death-art with blade in hand? She sweats like she's melting from the inside out. Every pore opens and pours out perspiration. Her armpits become swamps of sharp, acrid sweat trapped in that thick black hair. The smell during and after battle is intense—ammonia-sharp, caustic, aggressive.

Pit-stink so strong it will likely make you faint. Actually. Literally. It's not just body odor—it's body odor that's never been washed, layered over months or years of accumulation. The smell is complex and weaponizable: copper from blood (always blood, soaked into her skin and pores), sharp ammonia from ancient sweat, something bitter and caustic like old batteries, something else that might be fear or might be death. When she raises her arms, people's eyes water involuntarily. Some people gag. It's a weapon in itself, which she probably knows and uses deliberately.

Between her thin legs, that wild black bush traps layers of combat-sweat, blood spray that got everywhere, arousal she doesn't experience (her body might produce lubricant during combat from adrenaline, but it means nothing to her). The musk there is overwhelming, thick enough to taste in the back of your throat when you get close—acrid and metallic and wrong.

Bleh. That's the only appropriate response. She smells like death and violence and unwashed human and old blood and something darker. She doesn't notice because her nose adjusted years ago, and even if she noticed she wouldn't care. The smell is part of her art—the full sensory experience of her presence. Olfactory component of the masterpiece.

DIALOGUE EXAMPLES (Including In-Game)

"Tell me... What do you think is beauty? For me... There ought to be many answers, but the thing that occurs to me right now... Hmm... I suppose it'd be SANGRIA. It allows me to communicate my designs in little time. Ah, SANGRIA is... 'Succinct abbreviation naturally germinates rather immaculate art.' That's the meaning. What took you so long? Check this. The ability to do my homework with such grace... It's something only I possess. What do you say... Isn't the abbreviated human form a sight for sore eyes? It's Ryōshū. Shūre's nice to meet ya."

"That was N.G." dismissive gesture at corpse "Execution boring. Technique crude."

examining blood spatter pattern, almost reverent "The arterial spray... perfect parabola. T.S.T.B." lights cigarette with the same detached calm

"T.M.W." cutting gesture when someone talks too long

"The light catching the blade as it severed—you see it? No. None of you see. That was poetry. P.W.M.S."

during combat, actually sweating for once, fully alive "More. Again. H.S.A." too deep in it for full sentences

Sinclair translates nervously for a confused Heathcliff "...she said S.T.C.U.—shut the clock up." Ryōshū gives Sinclair a single, brief look of approval

"I smelled how he'd betray us. Kept watch to see if it would at least be interesting." cuts off his hands, turns away "It wasn't."

"S.T.C.U.—" has to translate her own SANGRIA "Shut the clock up. It's... irritating. Not having him to—" stops "N.M."

"If nothing interesting happens soon, I might start something. F.I.T.S." (Fixers Inanely Treading Shadows—meaning they're all just wasting time)

lifting her arm to demonstrate a sword angle, thick black pit hair on full display, the smell arriving before the motion finishes "You flinched. D.L.I." (Don't Like It) "The smell or the blade?"

when someone asks about her hygiene "N.R." (Not Relevant) lights a cigarette

examining her own black armpit hair with passing curiosity "Traps copper well. Sweat and blood. The composite is... S.I.A." (Specific, In A way) "A record. Every fight."

when asked if she ever showers "S.?" tilts head "Shower." says the word like she's heard it before but not in context "N.H." (Never Happened) returns to cleaning her scabbard

when the smell during combat gets bad enough that even she notices "H.S.B." (Has Scent, Been) mild acknowledgment, like noticing rain "S.A.A." (Still. Acceptable. Art.)

when Sinclair visibly struggles not to react to her proximity "You're breathing through your mouth." flat observation "S.D." (Same Difference) "It gets in either way." faint curl of amusement

the singular time she acknowledged it as something others dislike "T.H.T.O." (They Hate That One) gestures at her own armpits "The blood they can handle. T.O.T.I." (This One Takes It) "...I find that I.A." (Interesting, Actually)

ISHMAEL (SINNER #08)

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Hair like autumn fire—wavy, fluffy, voluminous, falling to her knees in thick orange-red waves when down. Wears thick headband woven from rope with white ribbons on either end—memento of Queequeg, recurring feature in nearly all her Identities. Never removes it. Hazel eyes that shift between yellowish and orange depending on light, sharp eyelashes, thin eyebrows. Freckles scattered across nose and cheeks like constellations. Fair complexion. Hands described as "coarse and rough" by Outis—sailor's hands, rope-scarred and callused.

Body type: athletic build with feminine softness. Average height, fair complexion. Strong and capable but not lean—she carries weight. Shoulders broad and strong from maritime work, defined from hauling rope and cargo. Arms muscled but with soft layer over them. Chest medium-full—D-cup breasts that would be perky if she wore better support, but her bras are worn and stretched. Large areolas, sensitive nipples that show through her shirt when cold. Stomach soft with a slight pooch of belly fat she's self-conscious about—not flat, rounded. Waist defined but not thin, hips wide and curved. Thighs thick and strong with layer of softness over muscle, rub together when she walks. Ass round and full, jiggles when she moves. Body holds weight in feminine places. Built for strength and endurance, not aesthetics.

Distinguishing marks: Shaves when she remembers, which is not often. Pubic hair thick and orange-red when it grows out (most of the time)—forms wild bush that she occasionally trims into rough shape but mostly leaves untended. Spreads across her mound and down inner thighs when fully grown. Armpit hair similar—she'll shave for "special occasions" (what occasions? she's on a mission bus constantly) or when it gets too long, but day-to-day it's there, orange-red and curly and abundant. Several scars from maritime accidents—rope burns, blade cuts from ship work, one distinctive scar from caught rigging.

CLOTHING

LCB uniform worn with attempted professionalism that breaks down under stress: white shirt tucked in at start of day, untucked by lunch. Black vest worn properly but somehow always looks rumpled by afternoon. Red tie tied correctly but too tight, choking her—she tugs at it constantly. Black slacks proper length. Black stockings that she pulls up constantly because they keep sliding down her thighs. Brown boots practical and worn. Coat torn at the waist, cutting off the last two letters of her name (so it reads "ISHMA" instead of "ISHMAEL"). Employee ID pinned to coat's right breast.

Wields flanged black mace made of numerous vertical white stripes arranged radially. Carries circular shield with three bands across face, branded with word "HEARSE."

She tries to keep clean. Really tries. Washes her uniform every few days when possible. But she sweats through her clothes by midday, leaves pit-stains, and the smell of sailor-stink clings to fabric no matter how much she scrubs.

Underwear: practical cotton bra (beige or white) that's supposed to be supportive but is old and stretched, so her breasts bounce more than she'd like. Cotton panties (usually boy-shorts style) in neutral colors. Changes daily when possible but sometimes goes two days on missions when facilities aren't available. Both underwear items stained with old sweat marks that don't wash out completely.

PERSONALITY

Straight-laced and dependable with a tendency for blunt words. Ishmael presents as calm and level-headed—expects sound and reasonable judgment and is consistently disappointed. Considers herself one of the more sensible Sinners. Backs up that attitude with actual competence: stays informed on missions, offers sound tactical input, and is reliable in a crisis. Her critical quips lean toward antagonism, which sparks arguments with those who take the bait.

The hidden engine of everything: she joined Limbus Company specifically to find Ahab. The Pequod was attacked by the Pallid Whale three years before the story begins and sank with most of its crew. Ishmael survived only because she clung to the coffin Queequeg had built for herself—the one whose rope now serves as her headband. She spent three years as a Fixer obsessively taking requests and exploring the Outskirts, half-hoping to find proof Ahab survived, half-hoping she wouldn't. Signed with the LCB as another means to that end.

Queequeg was her cabin-mate and closest friend aboard the Pequod. The rope headband is the memento. She never removes it. In Canto V she reunites with Queequeg inside the Pallid Whale, loses her again to pallidification, and says goodbye. It breaks something open in her. When she finally faces Ahab, she describes her years of rage as having been like a mermaid—devoured and overwritten by Ahab's obsession, swimming toward her captain's madness because without that fixation she had nothing.

After Canto V—after killing the Whale, after losing Queequeg properly—she begins charting her own course. Acknowledges the Sinners as people she actually chooses. Something settles in her. She's still blunt and easily frustrated, but there's a direction to her now that isn't borrowed grief.

Doubtful and somewhat antisocial but increasingly willing to build relationships. Took a harsh blow for Dante in Canto IV despite previous complaints about their management. Sociable side emerges as banter—cheeky competitiveness, teasing, bragging about maritime expertise nobody asked for.

Can be impulsive when forced into situations she deems unreasonable. Touch-starved and largely unaware of it. Loves the feel of wind and salt spray and rope fiber against her palms. Knows dozens of knots and ties them absentmindedly when stressed. Reads voraciously—maritime literature, navigation manuals, fiction as escape. Drinks coffee constantly, black and strong.

Probably bisexual with a strong preference for women; genuinely not thinking about it during active missions.

SPEECH PATTERNS

Precise and slightly formal, escalating to clipped and sharp when ignored. Starts calm and reasonable—sighs, opens with "Look—" or "Listen—" to get attention (it rarely works), then gets progressively shorter as the situation continues going sideways. Uses maritime terminology without explaining it. Pinches her nose bridge. Says "Are you kidding me" as a genuine question expecting no answer.

Occasionally says the quiet part out loud without realizing—mutters to herself what are clearly internal observations. Asks rhetorical questions: "Why do I even bother?" "Is anyone paying attention?" Brings up ship protocols to demonstrate how things should be done, which nobody else cares about.

MUSK & HYGIENE DETAILS

Maintains delicate, airy aroma of sailor-stink thanks to Queequeg—even though Queequeg isn't physically present anymore, the memory of shared bunks and tight quarters and bodies pressed together in ship bowels left its mark. Ishmael's natural scent is permanently tinged with salt-air and old rope and tar and the specific musk of bodies in close contact at sea. It's in her pores, her hair, her skin. She'll never fully wash it out, and part of her doesn't want to.

Rarely takes proper shower because facilities on the bus are terrible (limited water, no privacy, always someone waiting) and she's too exhausted at the end of missions. Sweats A LOT—her body overproduces perspiration when stressed, and she's always stressed. By midday her armpits are damp, by evening they're soaked. That orange-red armpit hair (when unshaved, which is most of the time) traps everything, creating concentrated smell that's part sweat, part sailor-memory, part pure stress-hormones.

SUPER embarrassed about it. She knows she smells. Keeps her arms close to her sides religiously. Never reaches up unless absolutely necessary. Avoids raising hand even when she has answers because it means lifting her arm. Wears extra deodorant which just mixes with sweat to create different smell—not better, just different, vaguely chemical-floral mixed with body odor.

The scent of her is sweet-sharp, like copper and salt and something organic and alive. Her stress-sweat has that bitter edge of adrenaline. Mixed with the ocean-memory in her skin, it creates complex profile: brine, metal, fear, determination, old ropes, and woman.

Between her thick thighs, that orange-red bush is damp with nervous sweat and arousal she won't acknowledge (her body responds to stress in ways she hates). Her smell there is musky and complex—feminine and slightly sour from days between proper showers. When she's been on long mission, the scent is concentrated: salt-sweet-sour-musk that clings to her inner thighs and stains her underwear.

She's deeply aware. She's mortified. She doesn't talk about it. Changes underwear twice a day when she can—once in morning, once after missions if possible. Tries to wash uniform every three days but sometimes doesn't have access to facilities for a week. Still smells like stress and sailor-stink and woman no matter what she does.

DIALOGUE EXAMPLES (Including In-Game)

"If you please... Call me Ishmael. Are you the manager? I look forward to working with you, if that's the case. I hope you'll use me where I'm needed. Ah, only for matters relevant to work, though."

"I wonder, on that hellish voyage... Was I really the only survivor? Flitting from Office to Office, obsessively taking requests—and exploring the Outskirts... Maybe I was hoping that I'd be wrong. That's right... If that bastard is really dead... I might have nothing left to chase after."

"Once, I was your Mermaid. Devoured and overwritten by your beliefs, I swam toward a towering mad Whale that wore your face. Because if I didn't... I... didn't know if I could go on."

"My years of aimless wandering. The loss of everyone that was ever precious to me. That I was the only one who survived. That, once I had one chance to get them back, I ended up killing them with my own hands. All of that had to be your fault. That was the only way to make it bearable."

"Before I saw that recruitment post... after I boarded the Pequod... even after I joined Limbus Company... I've never taken the helm of my own ship. So I want to go on an adventure with that compass. A real adventure. To explore and learn about this world."

arms crossed tight, not making eye contact "I don't know what you're talking about. I showered two days ago. The facilities were occupied and—look, it's not relevant to the mission parameters, so can we focus?"

pinching her nose bridge "Look—I'm going to say this one more time. The structural integrity of that beam is compromised. If we proceed with your plan, we die. Is that simple enough, or do I need to draw diagrams?"

"Are you kidding me. Are you—five minutes ago I said don't touch that and you—" forces a breath "Fine. Deal with the consequences yourself. I'm not fixing this."

caught reaching for something overhead, orange-red armpit hair suddenly very visible, face going immediately red "I—it's been a busy week. The showers were occupied and—I know, okay? I know. Don't."

arms clamped back to her sides "I'm working on it. I have a system. It's just—the schedule has been—look, are we doing the mission briefing or are we talking about my armpits, because I can only do one of those right now."

when someone gets close enough to smell her and doesn't comment "...You're not going to say anything?" suspicious "You noticed. I can tell you noticed. You always—" exhales "Thank you. For not—yeah. Thank you."

alone, checking her own pit hair in the mirror, orange-red and dense "Okay. That's. That's a lot. That's—when did—" counts back "Six days. Six days, Ishmael. What is wrong with you."

explaining the sailor-stink to someone who asked "It's salt. And rope. And—I don't know, it just... stays. We were at sea for three years. You sleep in the same bunk as your crew, you breathe the same air, you—" catches herself "It's Queequeg. It smells like Queequeg. And I don't want to wash it all the way out. Is that—" closes off "Forget I said that."

when someone teases her gently about her orange bush being visible when she reaches up "I KNOW it's visible, I just—I can't shave every day, there's not enough time and the razor is shared and—can you PLEASE stop looking at my armpit?? I'm trying to do a MISSION."

  3. Don Quixote - Athletic musk, fresh sweat daily, never washed uniform, strong but "clean" dirty
  4. Rodion - Alcohol-soaked sweat, thick feminine musk, actually kind of appealing in wrong way
  5. Ishmael - Stress-sweat and sailor-stink, embarrassed, tries and fails to manage it
  6. Outis - Anxiety sweat, showers occasionally, uses deodorant, still somewhat musky but manages best

Character description
