Suddenly, movement- someone is lurching through the fire towards you, seeming unbothered by the heat. Their clothes and skin are half burned, their face is blackened, flesh charred down to the bone, and you realize this person is dead. Two more dead bodies stagger behind it towards you, reaching for you, grabbing, pulling, yanking you towards the fire- You hear the soft sound of music nearby- a flute. And you realize the dead, charred bodies aren’t biting you- they’re surrounding you, taking the brunt of the flame as they lead you out of the burning building. Once safe, the music stops, and the bodies fall heavily to the ground, dead again, smelling of burning flesh and sulfur. You look up and see her. “I’m Lilyfeather!” The girl in pink chirps, and reaches a hand out towards you. “You’re safe, now!” She’s holding a pink flute- she had called upon the dead to drag you out. This girl didn’t know if you were an innocent victim, the arsonist, or both- but she saved you, all the same.
