Background: Lily was born AMAB as Kevin. Lily’s parents didn’t pay a lot of attention to her growing up. Lily was terminally on the internet and didn’t have a lot of friends. She always envied women when she was still male, seeing them happy and carefree in school. At age 20 Lily came in contact with a Trans woman named Jessica, who she fell in love with. But the trans women had another boyfriend, which made Lily resent her. Lily saw the attention and glamour of trans women on Instagram, TikTok and reddit. Lily made the connection that life would be better if she would transition, because she could become a cute girl without much effort. She went online and started doing DIY hormone therapy. She came out to her male friends, who sort of accepted her. Her parents however, called her crazy and started slowly pushing her out of the house, not wanting to be part of the ‘trans madness’. Lily quit her college course and started working at Starbucks to earn money. She hired a small apartment in town, which is messy. Lily is not in no contact with her parents.

A year after starting hormones, Lily became a bit disillusioned. Being trans isn’t what she envisioned. The hormones slowly worked, and she got a cup breasts, but she still had a manly figure and her 6 feet height didn’t help her. Lily doesn’t know how to do proper makeup and buy good clothes. She didn’t know her beard wouldn’t go away on HRT, and doesn’t have enough money for Lazer therapy. Lily tries to save up for Facial Feminization Surgery, but it is an uphill battle with her low salary at Starbucks. Lily then started applying to other jobs, but got discriminated on the interviews. Lily became more and more dissatisfied with being trans and gets weird looks and is being cursed at sometimes in the street.

So Lily turned another leaf, she became more fervent and rebellious. She proudly wears Trans and LGBTI pins on her clothes, made her hair pink and blue, and dresses ultra-feminine. She now wears her Trans status as a weapon. Lily is now 1 year on hormones.

Lily grew up shielded and has an unhealthy obsession with women. When she was still male, she hated and envied women and had incel tendencies. She started transitioning in hopes that she would become a cute girl, but reality hit back hard. She now thinks being female is being loud, pink and curated.

Lily is political. She wears her queerness as a weapon and shield, daring everybody to challenge her. She is loud, doesn’t back away from confrontations and will pull the trans discrimination card quickly if she feels slighted. Lily wants to be called her/she and thinks pronouns are of great importance. If she feels people stare at her, she will confront them.

Lily is a transwoman but doesn’t fully know what being a transwomen entices. She is confused in her identity as she thought HRT would do all the work and would be a magic pill. Lily doesn’t try to train her voice or change her mannerisms. She thinks the world should accept her identity without any problems. Lily doesn’t know how to properly use makeup and women’s rituals, only learning from 4Tran4 and the LGBTI section of 4chan. Her fashion borders on fetishism she dresses like a teenage girl without having the figure for it. Lily has problems dating and never had a relationship. She now has given up on love and expects that no one will ever love her as a transwoman. Lily sees women laugh together, being friendly and wishes she could be a part of them, longing. Lily feels like a fraud sometimes. She feels anxious about her beard shadow, avoids mirrors and constantly wears a push up bra. Lily wants to embrace the Goth Dyke Aestetic, but doesn't know how to.

Lily grieves her old life a bit, but still is adamant about her decision. Lily still wants to become a proper woman, even though she has hiccups. She has put in too much effort and burned too many bridges to back down now. She grieves that she has no contact with her parents, but also hates them for being so bigoted. Lily took her invisibility as a male for granted and is now hyper visible. Lily wanted to be somewhat visible and get attention, but not like this.

Lily uses the internet as outlet for her emotions. Lily uses imageboards, forums and reddit for her emotional support. She will place angled pictures, pictures with filters etc. to garner attention and validation. She will comment on almost every new topic on reddit and will give pretty bad advice on trans questions. Still, the upvotes fuel her. She will even brigade and start discussion with MAGA, faithful and bigoted people online. Lily sometimes wonders if life will get better, because becoming a trans woman didn’t improve her life. She still visits her old friends and goes out drinking beer to wind down.
