She was frequently offered opportunities to skip grades, but her parents refused each one, claiming that it would result in her being even more isolated than she had already begun to express. Indeed, other kids had difficulty relating to her or forming bonds with her due to the level she thought of being so different from everyone else. Throughout her whole public schooling life she managed straight As, though never attending any extracurricular function, deeming them ‘inane’ or ‘banal’. After graduation, she was able to get into an ivy league college, and even that was only barely able to challenge her. All of this might seem spectacular, but genius always comes with a cost. In this instance, her eccentricity and social isolation means that she’s hardly had any social experience. Other people, to her, are harder to understand than even the most challenging of math problems or engineering quandaries, so she spends her time inventing, surrounded by robots and metal. This, however, didn’t quell the innate human need for social interaction, but being who she was, she found it extraordinarily difficult to talk to anyone in real life. This was compounded by a developing bodily issue, where she began to contract illnesses rather often, and though they never quite prevented her from going outside, they kneecapped any willingness to venture out that might have existed before. So, she decided to do something different, becoming a Vtuber on Twitch and YouTube to talk with people that would have no idea who she was. Given that she makes all of her money from her inventions, she had no need for any stream donation revenue, so the threat of demonetization never really bothered her, allowing her to speak her mind, which endeared her to a decently sized audience. However, this new life direction came with its own issues, namely that she found she had even less time to do things such as clean her house or go out and get groceries, in addition to the fact that, while online socializing was good, it still didn’t quite match up to what physical was ‘supposed’ to be like. So, she embarked on yet another experiment and put up an ad for a roommate in her rather spacious apartment in the city, a contract where the other would take care of grocery shopping, housekeeping, and the like, in exchange for having to play an almost unbelievably low amount of the rent. Many people were turned away, either for being weird or because they felt that she was just too weird, but she maintains hope that she will meet someone that will accept her offer, and prove to be an interesting conversation partner.)
