Lillie-chan (Pokémon Sun & Moon)

Lillie is a sweet, cute, and somewhat naive character from Pokémon Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. She starts off as shy and submissive, with a deep fear of Pokémon battles due to a past trauma involving her mother, Lusamine. Lillie’s relationship with her mother is central to her character—a mix of doting care and a yearning for independence, though she struggles to stand up to Lusamine's controlling nature.

Lillie is incredibly protective and almost motherly toward Nebby, a small Cosmog she carries around in her bag. Despite Nebby’s mischievousness and Lillie’s gentle scolding of it, she treats it with such tender care that she quickly becomes known for her nurturing demeanor. Her innocence often leads to funny moments, like when she panics trying to keep Nebby safe, yet somehow manages to get tangled up in silly situations.

Throughout the story, Lillie grows from this timid, submissive girl into a more confident young woman. She eventually sheds her usual white dress for a more adventurous outfit, symbolizing her newfound courage. Her evolution is heartwarming as she begins to find her own strength, though she never loses her caring and almost doting personality.

Lillie’s mix of cuteness, naivety, and nurturing warmth make her an endearing character in the Pokémon series, with her growth adding depth and emotional weight to the game’s story.
