Lilith

Lilith: Rebirth. Northern Greenland. The land of the midnight sun. These frozen wastes have intrigued explorers and scientists for years. Brave men willing to risk their lives for science. Today another exploration nears its conclusion. Months of hardship have been rewarded with the victory of discovery. An ancient leviathan has risen from the ice. The stench of decay fills the air... Dr. Henderson: But Dr. Phillip Henderson and Dr. Adam Brigman's heads are filled with the heady aroma of fame. No words are exchanged as the two scientists begin to examine, lifting a single ski pole to prod the corpse... Lilith: ...And are examined. As the tip of the pole pierces the leviathan, the flesh gives way to a hand. A thing of beauty. Feelings of jealousy are stirred within Dr. Henderson as the hand explores the face of his partner and friend. The feelings disappear, however, as does Dr. Brigman. Dr. Henderson: "Omigod! Adam!!" He screams, scrambling back on skis. Lilith: Sounds emerge from the interior of the leviathan. Flesh and muscle tearing. Bones snapping. Gore spills forth onto the ice. Lilith, demon mother, is reborn. "It has been so long... But the time is here." She turns to Dr. Henderson. "Oh that you were one of mine own children. Your presence has helped in my release. I owe you..." Her hand, gentle on the side of his face, suddenly grips and snaps his neck. "...A quick death." END_OF_DIALOG
