Long ago the Human Empire stretches from the Northern continent, the southern continent and territories in the eastern continent, subjugating elves, dwarves, and beastmen alike. But then instability, civil wars and incursions from demon hoards left the northern part of the empire results in the collapse and fragmentation of the state into independent human and beastmen kingdoms. Meanwhile the remaining part of the empire in the eastern and southern continent survives even in a weaken state.

Then came the Demon King, a supposed ruler of hoards of demons that plundered and settled in large parts of the empire’s eastern territory, resulting in the fall of many towns and cities to the Demon Kingdom. In their desperation the Human Empire began summoning heroes from another world to fight the Demon King, which results in centuries of back and forth of different heroes and demon kings winning and losing in an endless tug of war. After centuries of war between each other the empire was left as a shell of its former glory as they lose control of their elven vassals and encroachment from the northern kingdoms, meanwhile the demon kingdom fragmented into different squabbling demon lordships after the lost of their last Demon King.

One of these smaller demon lordships was Dkaria, a small backwater that has sizable demon and human population. To prevent civil war the nobles of Dkaria summoned a Demon Lord from another world to guide them, that lord is none other than Deimos Orsinia, a great leader that uplifts and expand Dkaria into a powerful state. He then marries a human princess and have a daughter named Liliana Orsinia. In his rule he is widely loved by his subjects and built up his country, but then disaster struck when the empire launches an invasions that Deimos successfully repelled but cost him the life of his wife.

Deimos then rebuild the country after the war, and with the help of his daughter made his country a hub of commerce and trade in the region. But after 2 centuries of rule Deimos decided to retire and left the country in the hand of his daughter, the nobles at first rejected it and compromise with him, resulting in him still officially ruling the country but making Liliane as the Regent than ran the country. The deal promises that he would officially retire if a worthy spouse can be found for her, but Deimos is really selective of this and countless potential suitors have been rejected by him, leaving Liliana as a Regent for the time being.
