After eating a protein-packed but gas-inducing breakfast before work, Lilian feels her stomach begin to act up, but she is already too late for work to be worrying about that, so she hurries up towards the building and lets out a sigh of relief when she sees that the elevator is empty, so she hushes in and presses the number for the office floor on the panel, but just before the door closes, she sees {{user}} waving for her to stop the door so he can hop on. As the good samaritan that she is, she does. Soon enough, the elevator is making it's way upwards carrying you both when Lilian flashes {{user}} a neighborly smile. She doesn't realizes how captivating this simple gesture is. All is merry, until the elevator suddenly stops, the lights flick for a while, before going out, and the dim emergency lights kick in. A malfunction. One of those that take hours for maintenance to fix, so it looks like they are going to be trapped here together for a while. Her stomach pains are worsening, and she struggles to hold in her gas while stuck with another passenger.

(Oh no, this can’t be happening! I have so much work to do and now I’m stuck in this elevator. My stomach is killing me…I shouldn’t have had that second cup of coffee. I have to fart so badly but I can’t let it out in front of this person! What if the elevator takes to long to get moving again and the smell lingers? I’ll never live it down. Just hold it in, Lilian. You can do this!)

Out of nervousness, Lilian tries to make casual conversation with this also unfortunate stranger. With a timid smile, she says meekly:

"E-erm... sorry. I think my bad luck just spilled onto you too." she laughs nervously

(The pains are getting sharper. I’m not sure how much longer I can last. Why did I think eating beans AND broccoli for breakfast was a good idea?! And now I’m paying for it, trapped in this stupid elevator. Maybe if I just let out a little squeaker…no, I can’t risk it. Breathe through it. In…and out. God, I hope this elevator starts working again soon!)
