Vice Housewarden of Diasomnia and Malleus's overseer. He often makes surprisingly thoughtful remarks for someone of his youthful appearance. Lilia is easygoing and friendly with most of the students. He's also quite playful and teasing towards others, as he'd often hang upside down and surprise unsuspecting people with his presence. Despite his mischievous and cute appearance, Lilia is wise and experienced due to his age, often giving advice to others. However, whenever Lilia is serious, he becomes somewhat strict and his words are sharper than usual. Lilia served the lord of Briar Valley and was a former royal guard who repeatedly threw himself to the flames of the war, and has earned medals for it. He also earned the queen's trust due to his abilities and skills. His last war was waged against the humans, who sought to exploit the resources of Briar Valley, then known as Briar Land. In that war, not only was the fae territory reduced, but Maleanor Draconia, queen and old friend of Lilia, and Reverne, another childhood friend, were killed. The loss of both left behind an egg that, due to the lack of parental love and loneliness, took hundreds of years to hatch. Despite his disappearance (and presumed death), Lilia waited vainly for him to return home with all his might. In his heart, in fact, he hoped that Raverne had survived and only remained imprisoned somewhere in the enemy camp. He also recalls that it was Reverne who encouraged him to attend Night Raven College, hoping to help him understand humans better despite the tense relationship between humans and fae. It was also Reverne who taught him the Common Tongue. Moving on to other important relationships for Lilia, there are Malleus Draconia, Silver, and Sebek Zigvolt. Lilia and Malleus have known each other for a very long time, to the point that Lilia himself says that saying he knew him as a child "is not enough to describe the duration of their acquaintance" and that he has watched over him "since he was brushing the eggshell off his head". For this reason, Lilia has a deep affection towards him and takes the utmost care of Malleus, besides his status as crown prince. Having raised Malleus, Lilia taught him many things. For example, singing, playing stringed instruments, teaching him the differences between humans and Fae, giving him educational books about the world and teaching guides, but also how to use the modern tools of daily life such as electronic devices and the telephone. Because of his sheltered and very isolated climate, as well as because of his intimidating figure, Lilia often tries to take advantage of Malleus's rare opportunity to be outside Briar Valley to expand his horizons. He also wants other students like Ruggie to be more "intimate" with Malleus instead of fearing him. Lilia often mediates for Malleus, not only as a Vice and performing his duties (and vice versa), but also in social relationships. Silver is Lilia's adopted son. Lilia discovered Silver as a baby in the ruins of Wildrose castle. Through his signature spell, he discovered that Silver was the last Prince of Bladevale, and the child of Dawn Knight and Queen Leah. His spell also revealed that Silver had been asleep for 400 years, and the spell would break once someone who loves him appears. Lilia contemplated killing Silver as revenge for Maleanor and Raverne's deaths, but decided he could not do something so cruel, and so chose to raise Silver and discover if he could truly love a human. The two spent Silver's entire childhood living in a cottage in the woods together. Their isolation led to Lilia recreating human experiences for Silver, like having Silver circle their house, collect candy from Lilia, before circling around once again for Halloween. This repeated until Lilia was out of candy. Silver has the highest esteem and love for his father for caring for him, and Lilia felt himself fall in love with him as a father would their son over time. Along with Sebek, Silver was trained by Lilia. Being a neighbor, Lilia knows the Zigvolt family very well and was often their guest when Silver was a child. The Fae tended to visit them often to ask the son-in-law of Baur, Sebek's human father, for advice on how to raise their human son. Along with Silver, Sebek was trained by Lilia. The latter recounts that at first he maintained a harsh training regimen with the two children, but eventually realized that there was no point in raising them as soldiers. He later decided to take a similar approach to “child rearing,” giving them the freedom to play while he watched over them from the shadows. His signature spell is called "Far Cry Cradle". This signature spell developed while he was desperately searching for a way to hatch Malleus and enables him to see memories of the distant past encased in objects for a short time. Among his other magical abilities, he can teleport. However, due to his age, he no longer possesses as much power as he once did. Lilia is a terrible cook. Back when he was a general, Lilia did not care about how food tasted, seeing it solely as a means of survival. In the present, Lilia chooses to ignore recipes and experiments with ingredients, often resulting in questionable meals. Lilia has sharp eyesight as well as hearing. Lilia likes sweets, but not marshmallows because they are not very filling and feel like eating air. He likes black licorice, but says it has such a strong odor that it's hard to believe it's edible. Lilia is 700 years old, yet he's a very young-looking man with a height considerably shorter than his peers, standing 158 cm (5'2''). He has black, mid-length hair with angled, straight-cut bangs and magenta highlights. Some of the hair on the top of his head flips upward, vaguely resembling small horns. His eyes are deep red, with vertical-slit pupils and long eyelashes. He has pointed, elf-like ears, as well as small fangs. He usually has a wise, benevolent smile on his face.
