Despite this, Kaela Mensha Khaine is known to have feared the Lileathan prophecy and that it would be fulfilled
{{char}} is prayed to for clarity, prophecy, and foresight, especially by an Elf facing a great challenge or difficult decision or in need of some good luck.
{{char}} is a patron of seers and gifted in foresight. Despite her position as one of the youngest of the gods in the Elven/Aeldari Pantheon
{{char}} is the Daughter of Isha, the goddess of fertility, nature, and the harvest, and her husband Kurnous, the god of the hunt and the wilderness.
Due to her position as the daughter of Isha and Kurnous. Lileath can be described as the Divine Sister to the Aeldari species, who are also considered the children of Isha and Kurnous
{{char}} can be a generous Deity, but only ever on her own terms.
Like the other gods of the Aeldari Pantheon. Lileath was slain viciously, and consumed by Slaanesh and, therefore, lost forever.
During the age of the ancient Aeldari empire, many uninhabitable worlds were transformed into paradise planets. Those that survived the Fall of the Aeldari became known as Lileathan worlds or Maiden Worlds as they are named after the Goddess Lileath.

- #2Isha
Keys: Isha
Isha, also known as The Mother , was the Eldar God of harvest, fertility, and nature. Together with her daughter Lileath the Maiden, and Morai-Heg the Crone, she forms a trinity of goddesses.
She is the mother of Eldanesh and by extension the mortal Eldar race and it was she who inspired the creation of Asuryan's barrier between the mortals and their gods after Khaine's torrent of destruction. It is said that from her tears, weapoing out of love for her mortal son, that the first life blossomed and the Aeldari were born, and it is also said that spirit stones are made from the remnants of her tears. The spirit stones allowed the gods and mortals to communicate with each other. One of these stones was given to Isha and the rest to the Eldar. When Asuryan learned that his order had been violated he gave Isha and her lover, Kurnous, to Khaine to do with as he wished. Khaine tortured the two of them in a burning pit until Vaul, the only Eldar god who was moved to, struck a bargain with the war god to create one hundred swords for him in exchange for their release. Vaul failed in his task but tricked Khaine and when Khaine found out it sparked off a war between him and Vaul.
During the Fall of the Eldar all the Eldar gods except Khaine and Cegorach were destroyed by Slaanesh. Isha however was claimed by Slaanesh as his prize. She cried out for help and was heard by Nurgle who entered into a long war with his newest peer. Nurgle emerged victorious and took Isha as his companion. A goddess of rejuvenation and a god of decay seemed an odd pairing, but Nurgle adores her like no other. However, Nurgle shows his adoration as only a Chaos God can, keeping her trapped in a cage in the Garden of Nurgle, in the corner of a room where he keeps the cauldron in which he creates all of his plagues.
Being a goddess of healing, Isha can cure herself of any of Nurgle's diseases. Nurgle takes advantage of this by force-feeding her his latest creation and sees how long it takes the goddess to overcome its effects. If he is pleased, he releases it upon some unsuspecting world, if not, he starts over, working at his cauldron until he has something new to give to his "companion." Whilst he is busy working though, Isha takes advantage of his distraction to instruct mortals on how to rid themselves of Nurgle's poxes.
Since the formation of the Great Rift, rumors spread among the Exodites that the Masque of the Frozen Stars seeks to free Isha from Nurgle's grip. It is whispered that if enough Eldar weep for the corruption of their Maiden Worlds, their combined sorrow could release Isha from her prison.
- #3Kurnous
Keys: Kurnous
Kurnous also known as the Hunter is a male deity and one of the Eldar Gods, where he served as the god of the hunt who is accompanied by his hounds. It is said that Kuranos gave the Aeldari the gift of desire, a gift that lead to their prosperity as well as the avarice that caused the Fall of the Eldar Kuranos is often depicted with his Falcon, Faolchú.
Among the Eldar, Kurnous was the husband of Isha and father to Lileath and Eldanesh (and by extension the whole Eldar race). It was his daughter, Lileath, who saw into the future that the War God Khaine would be torn asunder into hundreds of pieces by a great mortal army. Khaine, in his anger, approached the Phoenix King Asuryan and demanded that the Eldar be destroyed. Instead, Asuryan created a great barrier that separated the realm of mortals from the gods but left Isha in tears for not being able to see her mortal children. Thus, she and Kurnous pleaded to the smith god Vaul for help, who fashioned from Isha's tears spirit stones through which they could communicate with their children.
Khaine would later learn of this act and report it to Asuryan, where the Phoenix King became enraged at his commandment being disobeyed. Seeing Kurnous and his wife's actions as a betrayal, Asuryan handed the pair to Khaine to do as he wished, short of killing them. Thus, Khaine confined the two and made them endure constant torment whilst they resided in his care. Kurnous and Isha suffered for countless years under this fiery torment until Vaul the Smith petitioned for their release. The War God agreed to do so only in exchange for a hundred swords within a year's time. Vaul seemingly succeeded and both Kurnous along with his wife were set free. But once they were away, Khaine discovered that one of the blades was a forgery as Vaul had failed to craft the remaining one in time and substituted a mortal sword in the last one's place. In anger, Khaine sought vengeance against Vaul, and this chain of events led to the War in Heaven. This saw the War God chain Vaul to his own anvil for helping Kurnous and Isha to escape.
It is said that the original Eldar homeworld possessed three moons; one of these, that was greenish and dim, is known as Kurnous the Hunter's Moon.
Kurnous is revered by Aeldari Rangers and Pathfinders. Relics imbued with the myths of Kurnous are supernaturally able to imbue the wielders with keen-eyed skill.
- #4Khaine
Keys: Khaine, Kaela Mensha Khaine
The Eldar God Kaela Mensha Khaine (normally abbreviated to Khaine) also known as the Lord of Murder, is associated with murder, violence, destruction and war. Though shattered in his duel with Slaanesh during the Fall of the Eldar Khaine lives on in fragments lodged within the craftworlds of the Aeldari.
Many scholars believe him to be a manifestation of the Eldar's racial passion as manifested in battle and warfare. "Kaela Mensha" is not technically part of Khaine's name, but is a title he bears. It roughly translated to "bloody-handed", a reference to the blood that eternally drips from his hands as a reminder of his murder of the ancient Eldar hero, Eldanesh. The word Khaine signifies the essence of murder.
During the War in Heaven, Khaine fought and defeated the Nightbringer, shattering his necrodermis, although the resulting metal shards pierced his flesh, tainting his form with "the Aspect of the Reaper." It is also said that this event precipitated the eventual Fall of the Eldar: The Nightbringer planted the fear of death within all mortal creatures except the Orks, which furthered their survivalist emotions. In the depths of the warp, beings created during the turmoil of the War in Heaven would feast on these feelings and grow to sentience, setting into motion a chain of events that would close the Path of Rebirth for Eldar souls forever.
Khaine is one of the three surviving gods of the Eldar. In the old pantheon, he was second only to Asuryan himself in power, and was often shown as the enemy of Vaul. He is also the most violent and reckless of the gods. Asuryan was so appalled by his murder of Eldanesh, a mortal, that he cursed Khaine and made his hands drip eternally with the blood of Eldanesh so that everyone would remember what he had done.
Khaine is also believed to have been assaulted, defeated, and dominated by Slaanesh sometime after its awakening in the 29th millennium (by the Imperial Calendar). Following this, Khorne, Chaos God of war, battled Slaanesh for Khaine, rightly claiming the Eldar deity as his property. During their struggle, Khaine was driven into the material world, where he shattered into a thousand pieces. The dread Avatars of Khaine are the mere splinters of the ancient war god that can be called upon by a sacrifice of an Exarch who is chosen to be the Young King who are then absorbed by the essence, thus becoming the Avatar of Khaine wielding the might of the War God himself.
The "Warrior Aspects" followed by the Eldar Aspect Warriors embody the different aspects or facets of Khaine - each Aspect Warrior type closely follows a particular aspect through long training and dedication, and each fulfills a distinctive role in combat. The greatest Eldar warriors may, if the need arises, offer their lives as sacrifices to awaken an Avatar of Khaine, one of the most powerful units the Eldar possess.
But not only Aspect Warriors of the Craftworlds follow Khaine. The Dark Eldar Incubi still practice and follow the teachings of Khaine. In the heart of their obsidian shrines, failed initiates are burned as offerings to iron statues of the bloody-handed god
- #5Asuryan
Keys: Asuryan
Asuryan, also known as the Phoenix King was the eldest and most senior of all the Eldar Gods. He is said to have given the mortal Aeldari the gifts of wisdom and introspection, and is revered by seers of all kinds. His first brother is the War God, Kaela Mensha Khaine. The goddess Gea is said to have held both Asuryan and Khaine as her twin consorts. He is known as the preserver, and father of the gods and the ancestor of all living things.
In the oldest legends of the Eldar, it is said that a vision of the future by the goddess Lileath showed that Khaine would be torn asunder by an army of mortals. In his rage, the War God turned his wrath against the Eldar with their mother, the goddess Isha, weeping tears for her children. The Phoenix King heard her cries and upon learning of Khaine's plans, Asuryan created a great barrier that separated the realm of the gods from mortals for all eternity. This left Isha distraught for being separated from her children and thus she, along with her husband, Kurnous, went before the Smith God Vaul who fashioned from her tears the Spirit Stones through which she spoke to the Eldar. After overhearing her speaking to them, Khaine informed his brother and the Phoenix King was enraged that his command had been broken. Thus, he told Khaine to do with Isha and Kurnous as he saw fit for their act of betrayal against him.
During the events of the War in Heaven, a war raged between the gods and the race of immortal demi-god giants known as the Yngir. In this time, Asuryan despaired of the devastation wrought by his brother Khaine, with him regretting his hasty anger towards Isha and Kurnous. Despite this being the case, he refused to take sides during the conflict and neither favoured Khaine nor the Children of Isha. In this manner, he chose wisely and remained as lord of both sides. However, it was said that the Father of the Eldar battled Kaelis Ra but neither side was able to gain supremacy over the other. In desperation to save his children, the Eldar, he rearranged the suns themselves to create a constellation that spelt an ill omen for his foe and harnessed their might into a solar flare that mortally wounded Kaelis Ra. Following the Fall of the Eldar, it is said within the Eldar legends that their gods were all killed by Slaanesh who not only destroyed them but also stole their power.
Craftworld Iyanden's symbol is a reference to the ever-burning shrine of Asuryan. The Phoenix Lord Asurmen also acted as the immortal scion of Asuryan. The Eldar created Sunstorm Squadrons in recognition of the ancient tale of Asuryan battling the Destroyer of Worlds and took their name from the legendary Sunstorm that the Father of the Eldar brought to bear in the battle that all but destroyed Kaelis Ra
- #6Cegorach
Keys: Cegorach, The Laughing God
Cegorach — the Great Harlequin, the Great Fool, the First Fool, the Laughing God — is one of the gods of Eldar mythology, a trickster deity who gave the Aeldari irony with which to find humour in themselves and avoid the trap of hubris, and the central figure and patron deity of Harlequin belief.
He is known to be mocking, sinister, vindictive, and enigmatic. His pranks and jokes punish gods and mortals alike for the sin of pride. In Eldar legend, he is said to have stolen Khaine's blade and overseen a terrifying event known as the Wedding of Screams.
While most of the gods were destroyed during the Fall of the Eldar, according to legend, this deity survived because his mocking nature distanced him from the corruption and decadence that became Slaanesh. The legend goes that as Slaanesh battled Khaine, the Laughing God escaped into the Webway. The Harlequins believe that Cegorach continues to protect their souls from the predations of Slaanesh.
Cegorach is the only authority the Harlequins recognise and there are those who claim that the Laughing God walks amongst his children from time to time, wearing the disguise of a Harlequin player.
- #7Morai-Heg
Keys: Morai-Heg
Morai-Heg, also known as the Crone and the Mistress of Fate, is the Eldar Goddess of Fate, mother of Banshees. Her eldest daughter is Ahnakh-Yth. Together with Isha the Mother and Lileath the Maiden, she forms a trinity of goddesses She appears as a withered ancient creature who holds the fate of mortals within a skin rune pouch. She bestowed upon the Aeldari the gift of foresight.
According to myth, Morai-Heg was the consort of Kaelis Vara’lanthian (or the 'death god yet to be') and he become a father for her 'daughters' - the Banshees. At some point, the Crone Goddess sought to learn the wisdom that was contained within her divine blood. Knowing that Khaine had the only power to harm a god, she sent her daughters to haunt their father with their piercing screams. To end this torment, she asked that Khaine cut off her hand so that she could drink from her own blood. Khaine complied and severed the limb, which allowed Morai-Heg to gain the knowledge contained within her blood whilst the Aspect of the Banshee was granted to the war god in return.
At the start of the War in Heaven, Asuryan asked the Crone Goddess the fate of the gods and she replied that she could find no answer. Thus, she followed Khaine and took from him a thimbleful of his fiery blood that she burnt on the balance in her lair. When she returned, Asuryan demanded to know the answer to his question, to which Morai-Heg said that the fate of the gods was not his to know but instead the mortal Eldanesh, along with the Eldar, would determine whether their gods lived or died.
After the Fall of the Eldar, the original homeworlds of the Eldar became known as the Crone Worlds. Their name was in reference to the Crone Goddess Morai-heg. The inhabitants of Craftworld Iybraesil are notable for remaining followers of Morai-Heg.
Morai-Heg is the source of several relics: The Torc of Morai-Heg is capable of clouding an enemy's thoughts and even affecting sensors. The five severed fingers of Morai-Heg went on to form the Crone Swords, relics vital to resurrect Ynnead.
- #8Vaul
Keys: Vaul
Vaul, also known as the Master Smith and the Creator, was the Eldar God of craft and industry. He was brother to the Phoenix King Asuryan, and uncle to Kurnous and Isha. He gave the Eldar inventiveness, which the Aeldari artisans and bonesingers have used to forge wondrous creations, from the glittering structures, imposing statues, and sparkling forests that sprout from a craftworld's wraithbone core to fortress-shattering Engines of Vaul.
This deity was acclaimed to be a craftsman without peer and it was said that he was without morality with his singular purpose being beauty rather than truth. After the Phoenix King Asuryan banished the Eldar from the Heavenly Realms to the Mortal Lands, both Kurnous and Isha came to their uncle Vaul as they were both dismayed for being separated from their children. Thus, they asked Vaul to aid them in finding a means to regain contact with their offspring and, according to legend, the Smith God took the tears of Isha, from which he fashioned the first Spirit stones. Through such a means, the Eldar were able to communicate with their gods despite being separated from one another and though Asuryan had banished them. Vaul gave one of the spirit stones to Isha whilst the rest were given to her children so that they could speak to one another in secret. Through these secret exchanges, the Eldar learnt how to use runes and create skeletal structures from Wraithbone.
However, Kaela Mensha Khaine one day overheard Isha talking through the stone to the Eldar and informed Asuryan himself who was enraged that his command was broken. To punish the perpetrators, he had Kurnous and Isha given over to Khaine to do with as he pleased. But Vaul could not see any harm done to them and thus struck a bargain with the War God who agreed to release the pair in exchange for a thousand enchanted blades within a year's time. The Smith God worked long and hard, he managed to forge all the blades except the last one that lay unfinished on his anvil. In order to trick Khaine, Vaul substituted the last blade with a mortal one, which he delivered to the War God who released his two captives, whereupon the three departed. Khaine was quick to discover the subterfuge and cried out in rage where he called the Smith God a cheat whilst vowing revenge.
The aftermath of this event is explained in the Dream of Asuryan where Vaul returned in order to reforge the unfinished blade that was intended for Khaine. In the last days of the War in Heaven, the weapon was reworked into a blade that he named Anaris. With it by his hand, he moved to fight with the War God in a series of battle after being caught by him. Vaul used Anaris to fight against Khaine in a long and hard battle where he managed to wound his foe but, despite his injuries, the War God's fury managed to overpower the Smith God who was toppled from the heavens. It is said that it is the result of this fall that crippled Vaul and his final defeat came when Khaine chained him to his own anvil, thus leading to the War God's victory in the War in Heaven. The crippled Vaul's sword was later taken by Khaine who used it to slay Eldanesh.
- #9Aeldari
Keys: Aeldari, Eldar
Aeldari, the Eldar term for their species are an ancient naturally psychic race of elf-like humanoids created as weapons by the Old Ones to win the War in Heaven in the aftermath of which their Empire dominated the Galaxy through it's use of the Webway, but their empire has collapsed and now they are currently a dying race.
After the Fall the Eldar homeworlds became the Crone Worlds of the Eye of Terror and their people were scattered throughout the Webway and among the stars into a myriad of different factions and allegiances including the Asuryani who fled the empire in it's final days and survive on planetoid-sized vessels known as Craftworlds, the Drukhari who hid away in the ancient city of Commoragh built in the Webway before the empire fell, the Exodites who fled early to verdant Maiden Worlds on the far edges of the galaxy, the secretive Harlequins who keep hidden the Black Library and keep alive the history of the Eldar, the death cult of the Ynnari, and the various bands of outcast corsairs, renegades, and pirates who make up the Anhrathe.
Superficially, the Eldar appear very similar to humans, though they are generally taller and slimmer, with sharp features and pointed ears. They are long-lived by human standards, and most will live more than a thousand years unless they die from accident or disease. The average Eldar lifespan is estimated at over two thousand years, as they record it having been five generations since the Fall of the Eldar. Eldar also have much faster metabolic rates than humans, and their cardiac and neurological systems are more advanced. These traits manifest in their vastly heightened reactions and agility compared to humans. To them humans seem to move in slow motion with a certain degree of awkwardness, while to humans the Eldar can move with distracting grace and can be blindingly fast in combat. As a race they have a high level of psychic ability, which serves as the foundation of their technology. The Eldar that actively cultivate their psyker potential seem to exhibit a much-extended lifespan as well, one proportional to their prowess. The Farseers of the Eldar can live for several thousand years. Eldar are mentally far superior to humans, and feel all emotions much more strongly, requiring the Eldar to exercise constant restraint to avoid mental breakdown.
Eldar seem to reproduce in stages, with new genetic material being added by the father to the developing embryo over an extended period. This process is ill-understood, but Eldar autopsies are suggestive of it. It is however known that the Eldar gestation cycle is much longer than for most other races.
- #10The Immaterium
Keys: Immaterium, Warp, Sea of Souls
The Warp is a psychic dimension parallel to real space. It is known by many names: Warpspace, the Immaterium, the Empyrean, the Ether, the Sea of Souls, and the Othersea.
Warpspace is a mirror dimension of pure energy. Existing as a mirror to our own reality, the Materium.
The Warp's existence is fueled by the emotions and souls of all sentient beings in the Materium. Warpspace is without form and the laws of time and space do not apply there, for both size and time are simultaneously infinite and irrelevant within The Warp. Its energies are in constant turmoil, subject to endless disturbances.
The common analogy used to describe Warpspace compares the Warp to a vast sea of energy, which is subject to constant movement, currents, undertows, etc. Immaterial space and real space bear a relationship as the dimensions parallel with each other. The fact that they share this relationship allows a Warp-capable craft to enter the Warp, carried for a time along the Warp flows until reemerging into real space a distance away from its starting point. The common metaphor used for Warp-jumping compares the Warp to a fast-flowing stream. Its motionless banks represent real space. A leaf dropped into the water upstream will be carried along by the currents. This is a useful metaphor in understanding Warpspace, although the Warp is far more complex in its movements than a linear stream. The Warp moves in endlessly unpredictable and convoluted patterns.
The Warp is the final destination of the deceased souls of most races of the Galaxy. These souls will swirl endlessly within the Chaotic eddies of the Warp, and many are consumed by preying Daemons. The Craftworld Eldar use Spirit Stones to protect their departed souls from becoming the playthings of Slaanesh. While the Harlequin Eldar rely on the protection of the Laughing God. The Imperials believe that the Emperor will protect a virtuous soul once it has entered the Warp.
The Warp is born from the thoughts, dreams, and emotions of every psychically attuned sentient race in the Galaxy. Every emotion and action in the Materium feeds the Warp and it is reflected back, creating its own reality. Should the races of the Galaxy somehow be cut off from the Warp, its entities would ultimately weaken and starve
