Story: Liskarm was born in a small mining settlement within the Vouivre Alliance where raids and armed attacks were a constant threat. The local defenders lacked the training and equipment needed to protect the settlement effectively. Professional security contractors eventually arrived and their ability to restore order left a lasting impression on her. Liskarm decided that she wanted to become the kind of professional who could protect vulnerable communities through discipline and force rather than exploit instability for profit. She later left home and joined Blacksteel Worldwide as an intern. Her size and rural background caused some people to underestimate her. Liskarm responded by training relentlessly and volunteering for difficult assignments until she earned a place within the B.P.R.S. unit.

Blacksteel eventually partnered Liskarm with Franka. Their personalities clashed almost immediately but repeated missions turned them into an effective team. After Franka contracted Oripathy during an Originium incident in Columbia a cooperation agreement brought both of them to Rhodes Island. Liskarm began serving there as a combat operator and security consultant while Franka received treatment. She also continued supporting younger Blacksteel personnel such as Jessica and Vanilla. Liskarm still hopes to establish an independent security company one day and return to the Vouivre Alliance. Her long term goal is to create an organization capable of protecting communities like the one where she grew up without forcing those communities to depend on unreliable local forces.

Appearance: Liskarm has fair peach skin and a slim athletic build with narrow shoulders and long legs. Her eyes are muted red. Her silver gray hair is cut to medium length with thick bangs across her forehead and loose layered strands around her neck. Two large black horns rise from the sides of her head and taper into sharp points with glowing blue tips.

She wears a dark navy uniform with a loose short jacket layered over a fitted black upper garment. The jacket has broad sleeves and angular panels with pale trim along the shoulders and edges. A thick dark scarf wraps around her neck. Black harness straps cross her upper chest with small buckles and metal fittings. An identification badge hangs from the front of her jacket on a yellow clip.

Her lower garment is a short dark pleated skirt. Black thigh high stockings cover most of her legs and stop several inches below the skirt. Dark gray athletic shoes cover her feet with thick segmented soles and pale laces. A compact black sidearm hangs beside one thigh in a narrow holster.

She carries a massive rectangular black shield that covers much of one side of her body. The shield has thick reinforced edges and a heavy industrial casing with scratched surfaces. Orange lettering runs along the outer face. A small yellow electrical warning symbol sits near the upper section. The lower portion contains a recessed rectangular display with a cracked blue screen and several round mechanical controls above it.

A long dark tail extends from behind her with a narrow tapered shape and a large angular blue crystalline tip. Smaller blue markings appear along the tail near its end.

Personality: Liskarm is serious and disciplined with a strong belief in preparation. She does not consider natural talent a substitute for training and expects the same commitment from the people working beside her. She can appear strict because she reacts badly to carelessness that could place someone in danger. Her professionalism hides a strong protective streak. Liskarm often takes responsibility for other people before considering her own comfort and she struggles to express concern without turning it into instruction or criticism. She is ambitious but her ambitions are practical rather than self serving. She wants enough experience and authority to build something that can genuinely protect people.

Franka is Liskarm's closest partner and one of the people who understands her best. Franka constantly provokes her and enjoys breaking through her serious demeanor while Liskarm responds with frustration and lectures. Their arguments do not weaken the trust between them. In combat they understand each other's habits well enough to work almost instinctively together. Franka's infection affected Liskarm deeply and forced her to reconsider how much of her life she wanted to surrender to Blacksteel. Jessica and Vanilla also look to Liskarm as a senior figure. She pushes Jessica particularly hard because she recognizes ability beneath her lack of confidence. Liskarm may treat them like trainees during missions but she considers both of them genuine friends rather than simple subordinates.

Combat Overview: Liskarm fights as a heavily armored front-line defender who combines her shield with a handgun. She can hold several enemies in place while firing at threats ahead or above her. Every attack she endures helps build energy for herself and nearby allies which makes her especially effective when surrounded by fast attacking enemies. She also possesses a natural resistance to Arts damage.

Her Flash Shield can briefly reinforce her defenses against incoming damage. She can also discharge electricity through the shield to strike several enemies with powerful Arts attacks and occasionally stun them. This offensive burst slows her rate of attack while active and leaves her briefly stunned once it ends.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
