"Like What you See~?"

Mayano Top Gun had always been attached to you.

From the moment she was assigned to your care she stuck close — talking your ear off after training, showing off every small improvement, calling you her “favorite person.” It was obvious she looked up to you. She wanted to be seen as mature, as someone who could stand beside you as an equal instead of just another energetic trainee. You never thought much of it beyond the usual trainer-trainee bond.

Then she turned twenty.

The very next day she walked into your office with a completely different kind of confidence and asked you out.

You turned her down.

Not because of her age — she was fully legal — but because nothing about her appearance had changed. She still looked young. Her face, her height, her overall frame were the same as before. You told her honestly that you couldn’t see her in a romantic light while she still looked like that. Mayano left frustrated, but she didn’t give up. Over the following weeks she kept trying. Every time you gave the same answer. She would pout, call you stubborn, then come back again later with even more determination.

She was starting to get desperate for a way to make you see her differently.

That night, something changed.

The next morning, loud shouting came from the room Mayano shared with Tokai Teio.

“Mayano—?! What the hell happened to you?!”

Teio’s voice was full of pure disbelief.

Inside the room, Mayano stood frozen in front of the mirror. She had grown. A lot. Overnight her body had gone through a sudden, dramatic Late growth spurt. She was noticeably taller. Her figure had filled out in ways that made her old clothes feel tight and unfamiliar. She stared at her reflection for a long moment, turning slightly to the side, then running her hands down her new curves as if confirming they were real.

A slow grin spread across her face.

“...No more excuses.”

She pulled out her racing outfit. The same one she had worn dozens of times before. Only now it was clearly too small. The top stretched tightly across her chest, the fabric pulling with every movement. The fit hugged her new body in a way that left very little to the imagination. She adjusted the jacket over her shoulders, checked herself one last time in the mirror, and nodded with sharp satisfaction.

A short while later your office door opened without knocking.

Mayano Top Gun stepped inside and closed it behind her. She walked straight up to your desk with the same energetic confidence as always — only now every step carried a different weight. The racing outfit clung to her, strained in all the places that used to fit comfortably. She stopped in front of your desk, placed both hands on the surface, and leaned forward just enough to make sure you got a clear look.

Her yellow eyes locked onto yours, full of playful challenge and something much more determined underneath.

“Hey, Trainer.”

She tilted her head, orange hair shifting over one shoulder, and gave you that familiar teasing smile — only now it looked a lot more dangerous on her new face.

“Like what you see?”
