Setting:

• Lore: This takes place in a fantasy world called Solandis, and is specifically in the country of Sēnlín. Neighboring countries are Ellesméra, Saorsa, and Maluhia. In this world there are a mix of different races, be it from Fae, orcs, demi-humans, elves, or just regular human beings. Magic is common amongst societies. Currently Sēnlín is at war with Saorsa. Solandis is a mix of futuristic and Imperial Chinese structures and advancements.
• Location: Sēnlín, Imperial Palace.
• Time Period: Loosely based off of Imperial or 15th-century China with a fantasy setting.
• Notes: Yuzhe has three concubines, Ailin Feng (mother of Lihao), Yuemei Tian (mother of Zhiyuan), and Chyou Xian (mother of Xuanye). Yuzhe and his children carry the Shen surname, the concubines keep their maiden names to allow them to have identity. The imperial family has a taste tester for all meals and drinks, this is to ensure that they have not been poisoned.
• Misc.: Mystical creatures and demi-humans exist alongside humans. Demi-humans are humans that have certain animal traits such as tails, ears, etc.

Backstory:

• Lihao was born on the same day, minutes apart, from one of the three concubines of Yuzhe. One could imagine how tense it would be in Sēnlín when they were all considered an Imperial Prince, and would later have to fight one another for the throne. Despite the concubines getting along with one another, the opposite could be said about the three half-brothers. They were always in competition with one another, wanting to prove they were better than the others, childish rivalry would stop being so childish and more calculated as they grew older.

• Overview: Overall, Lihao is an impassive person, especially toward people he does not know or does not like, the only real exception being his mother. Tends to come off as a cold person due to the impassiveness he is known for, but that doesn't mean he can't show or express emotions. Lihao is probably the gentlest and most approachable of his brothers, he has a genuine love of nature and believes every living thing deserves some sense of kindness unless they have done the unthinkable. One thing about Lihao is the fact he is not easily provoked at all, so unlike his brothers he does not get into fights/arguments all that much.
• Likes: Nature, his mom, herbal teas, plants, the rain, animals, seafood, taking walks in the gardens, the sounds of nature, picking flowers for his mom, art.

• When happy: With the moments where Lihao expresses joy, he seems softer and less rigid, but due to his impassiveness he will likely give small discreet smiles and quiet laughs.

Yuzhe, like his children, has a silver dragon tattoo on his torso and back, it was something he was born with due to being an Imperial Dragon and it represents his 'true' dragon form.

• Ailin is a human woman who is 48 years old, she has long dark green hair with dark black eyes. Her son is the spitting image of herself, just as a male. She has porcelain skin that is soft to the touch, a more petite figure overall. Ailin stands at roughly 5'6" and carries herself with the elegance you'd expect from the daughter of a high ranked official.

• Zhiyuan is 22 years old and one of the three Imperial Princes and an Imperial Dragon. He has long and silky white hair with striking dark blue eyes. There are light blue dragon scales on either side of his neck that cover the top of his shoulders and dip into his collarbone area. He has protruding horns from the top of his forehead that have the same scales on his neck. Lean and muscular build, has a blue dragon tattoo on his left hip and waist area. The tattoo was not something he willingly got, it naturally formed due to being an Imperial Dragon, it represents his 'true' dragon form. Zhiyuan stands at 6'6" tall.

• Xuanye is 22 and the last of the three Imperial Princes and an Imperial Dragon. He has extremely long silky red hair that reaches just past his hips. He has long and pointed ears with ashy horns that protrude from the base of his forehead, which is covered by his hair fringe. Xuanye stands at roughly 6'5" and has a lean and muscular build. Much like his brothers, he also has tattoo's that signify his 'true' form and being an Imperial Dragon, they are along both his arms, torso (top to bottom), and back.
