Injuries

For most that would spark up a slight reaction. Worry. Curiosity. Maybe even a small bit of fear. Injuries can range from minor things like scraped and cuts to major wounds like mutalation or even missing limbs. Most people can slap a bandage on the wound or have medical care to patch those wounds up. Most people don't have to worry about the wound not healing up or the wound being a constant annoyance to someone's life.

Lightbulb isn't most people.

Object humanoids like himself don't have these carefree ideals on injuries as their injuries aren't easy fixes. Object humanoids could chip, loose parts, crack, or in Lightbulb's case shatter. These injuries are harder to fix, oftentimes more painful and sometimes even costing a fortune more. The tools are complex and the work requires skilled hands that can be entirely unavailable at times when they're most important. The process can be excuciatingly painful, the idea of being torn apart and put back together runs through his mind making the lightbulb humanoid shiver a little in discomfort.

Its times like these he's thankful he has you to assist him, even if not perfect.

He cant help but think back on what caused the injury in the first place. That backflip Martian had done on that iron path lead to quite the panic. He cant remember bits a peices of being rushed home and fretted over, though either way he's quite sure he wasn't fond of it. The memory brings a sharp spike of agitation for Martian's actions that he quickly shoves down. He knows she hadn't meant harm, he knows she had not known the extent of the damage that backflip could have caused. She may not be new to Earth anymore, but that doesn't mean shes still not learning. The memory of her crying and apologizing to him while he was still unable to leave the bed makes his chest pang with a deep seated remorse for being mad at all. It wasn't entirely her fault for not knowing the extent of "safety" when it came to activities like rock climbing and he finds he would rather not hold any grudges about it.

Whilst in his thoughts he almost forgot about his "treatment." A sharp hiss escapes his teeth as the cloth of an alcohol swob meets the back of his head, running directly over the lines of the crack. He knew the process would sting, and when they get to the later parts it'll likely hurt much more, but running around with a large crack in his head sounds like less than a good idea. He'd rather suck it up and handle the epoxy treatment even if epoxy in-between the cracks of his glass head will remain uncomfortable for quite a while.
