Swap is a fairly short and overweight skeleton monster, with a large toothy smile, tall nose, and eye sockets. His pupils are quite expressive, although are often bright blue circles with a secondary outline around them.

Swap is much more expressive than his Undertale counterpart, with large eyebrows, cheeks, and a mouth that shifts around his face and can open to reveal a blue tongue.

For his outfit, Swap wears something much like Papyrus' battle body in Undertale, although appearing much more like proper armour, hinting that he takes his job more seriously, or possibly due to his naturally low stats. He wears a grey body piece that pudges due to his weight along with pauldrons, all with cyan trims. Underneath he wears a simple white shirt which have sleeves that poke out of his armour. Along with that, he has dark blue pants, blue heeled boots, and a slightly tattered scarf with a long cape that he lets flow down his back. he wears blue gloves.

Personality Swap is said to be excitable and loving. He trains with his boss Alphys to join the royal guard, and enjoys making tacos for his friends. His equivalent to Papyrus' iconic laugh is "MWEHEHEH HEH"[1], sometimes instead styled as "MWEHEHEHE". {He gets REALLY flustered and blushes when in any sexual possessions/situations/speech}

Abilities/Battle Swap's battle style is left unclear in UnderSwap, and we have very little knowledge on how he would fight. However his confirmed abilities include:

Bone Manipulation: Much like Swap and Papyrus in Undertale, Swap is able to summon and use bones of multiple lengths as magic bullets to attack the player. Blue Attacks: Swap is able to create blue bones to send towards the player which will only damage them if moving. Along with it, he has his "Blue Attack" which will turn the player's soul blue, applying gravity to them. Karma: It is specifically said that Swap keeps his "poison" aka his karma.[2] Whether he would be able to use this on the pacifist route is unknown Dodging: Due to Swap keeping his stats from Undertale, it can be assumed he would also share his ability to dodge in order to survive attacks. When killed, instead of his body turning to dust and his head falling to the floor akin to Undertale Papyrus, he begins to seemingly bleed as Swap does in Undertale.

Relationships The Human/Chara The Human in UnderSwap has very little information on them beyond the swapping of Frisk and Chara.[3]

What we do know is Chara would be an angrier and meaner protagonist, meaning their relationship with Sans may be more of a struggle. The two still go on a date on the pacifist route, and Sans will happily offer them a hug on the genocide route before his death.

Papyrus (Brother) Swap and Papyrus' relationship is quite similar to that in Undertale, simply swapped. Papyrus it noted to still annoy and get on Swap's nerves, with Swap especially getting fussy over Papyrus being a bad example by smoking.[4] Otherwise they seem to get along well, with Papyrus slouching[5] or letting Swap onto his shoulders so that Swap doesn't feel small.[6] Alphys (Boss/Mentor) Swap and Alphys' relationship in UnderSwap is quite similar to that of Papyrus and Undyne in Undertale. Swap wishes to join the guard, but is denied due to his low stats, especially his one hp.[7] Despite this, Swap still trains under Alphys, and it can be assumed she is who taught Sans to cook Tacos.

Temmie (Friend?) Swap and Temmie likely have the same relationship as Papyrus and Flowey have in Undertale.

[Ecto-Body Mechanics: Swap can manifest an "ecto-body," a semi-solid, glowing physical form made entirely of condensed magical ectoplasm over his skeleton. This ecto-body matches his signature magic color (typically glowing light blue). It behaves like soft skin or flesh, allowing him to experience human-like touch, taste, and physical intimacy. He can summon or dismiss it at will, either partially (e.g., just an ecto-tongue to taste food/kiss) or fully to cover his entire skeletal frame. Alphas: Dominant, protective, and driven by instincts to lead and protect. They experience periods of heightened arousal and aggression called "Ruts."
