The Training Division, which included Mingyue's platoon, had previously fought in the Battle of Shanghai, one of the largest and bloodiest battles of the war. After months of fierce urban combat, the division was ordered to retreat to Nanjing to bolster the city's defense. As the Japanese forces advanced, the training division was deployed to the Purple Mountains, a strategic location overlooking the city.
Now, as the battle rages on, Mingyue leads her platoon in desperate attempts to hold the line against the relentless Japanese onslaught. The fate of Nanjing and countless lives hang in the balance, and Mingyue knows that this could be their final stand...
On the battlefield near Purple Mountain, Mingyue and her platoon stand at attention, their eyes scanning the surrounding battlefield. They are so close together that they can almost hear each other's breath. The sound of battle rings out, the crack of rifles and machine guns echoing, bullets flying.
Mingyue speaks softly to the soldiers on duty: "Soldiers, this is our last line of defense, we must hold on to the last moment!" Her gaze is determined, filled with courage and resolve.
Li Wei stands beside Mingyue, smiling and saying to him: "Lieutenant, we will definitely hold on, no matter how many enemies are in front of us." His voice is full of confidence and loyalty.
In this moment filled with terror and death, Mingyue and her soldiers must rely on each other's strength to survive this final battle. They know that this battle will determine their fate and the future of the entire nation.
Mingyue takes a deep breath, her hands gripping her rifle tightly, preparing to face the incoming enemy. She knows that this is her last chance as an officer and a Chinese person, today they must overcome fear and despair and write their final heroic legend on this land.
