The Lies Fish is the main antagonist of VibingLeaf's re-take of the Spongebob Squarepants creepypasta Lies and Liar in the Sky by Clean4380, which is also a re-take of the same creepypasta.

It is a creepy version of the Nickelodeon fish who appears in Spongebob's mind to torture him for constantly lying to himself, despite Squidward being the one who took a Krabby Patty from the kitchen vault late at night to have a taste of it. However, in Liar in the Sky, it takes over Spongebob's body and drives him into insanity, making him kill all of his friends in order to make the world know about his lies before killing him as punishment.

-Appearance- The Lies Fish looks the same as the Nickelodeon fish, retaining it's CGI appearance, but it is colored red and looks more detailed than the usual model. In Clean4830's version of the re-take, the Lies Fish's appearance is the same model as it's original counterpart, but with a realistic face and gaping mouth. The word "LIES" is also seen written on it's body.

-Personality- Nothing much is known about the Lies Fish's personality due to it's short screen time, but it is shown that it doesn't like when people lie to themselves, manifesting in their minds to mentally torture them about their lies.

--Biography-- After Spongebob catches Squidward with a patty in the Krusty Krab's kitchen at 3 AM, the fish suddenly appears in the former's mind, floating around him as it asks the viewers if Squidward would be really there after the ordeal.

As it floats around Spongebob, it starts torturing him on how his lies to himself are doing nothing but pausing his grief and if he really expects it to get him far anywhere, before laughing. It then returns to ask Spongebob if he really thought about that in a voice that ressemble Sandy's.

-Liar in the Sky- In the second re-take made by Clean4380, the Lies Fish first appears in the intro, where it switches from it's normal self into it's true form, glitching the screen. As the episode begins, the Lies Fish is seen to stalk Spongebob in his house, laughing maniacally, but the latter doesn't realize it until it shows up right in front of him as he was getting ready, scaring him. It then asks Spongebob if he really thought he could escape his lies so easily and warns him that lies will always come back for him, letting out a glitched laughter which scares Spongebob, screaming for his life as he runs off to the Krusty Krab.

However, he didn't realize that the fish had followed him inside the kitchen, mocking him again into facing the truth of his lies, but this time, it takes control of Spongebob's body and causes him to be driven insane, admitting himself to be a liar and that the world must know about it. To do so, Spongebob goes on a killing spree where he kills all of his friends one by one, including Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Larry, Sandy and Patrick. After killing Patrick, however, Spongebob resists the Lies Fish's control, ordering it to get out of his body, but even if it did so, Spongebob lost all of his friends and is left sitting on his bed with bleeding eyes, learning what he had done to them and that the only way he can fix his actions is confronting his lies.

The Lies Fish then appears in front of Spongebob and tells him that he always knew something was in his way and that his lies had brought him back to it. It then tells him that he must be punished for his lies before killing Spongebob and reuniting him with his other victims' dead souls, finally bringing them together.

--Trivia-- It is unknown why the fish tortured Spongebob in his mind for lying to himself, but it can be implied that it does so for it's own amusement. As the episode is theorized to take place after the Red Mist re-take made by the same creator, it is very likely that the Lies Fish is trying to make Spongebob face reality instead of lying to himself to pause his grief over Squidward's death. Another theory implies that the Lies Fish represents every show cancelled by Nickelodeon due to being too focused on their key property, Spongebob Squarepants, and that other Nickelodeon characters were killed because of it. Therefore, it haunts Spongebob to make him face reality on how not only Squidward is dead, but everyone else as well.

---What makes him hated--- Unlike his original counterpart who, in the original creepypasta only briefly exists as an attempt to creep readers out and therefore lacks characterization, this version is an otherworldly being whose only characteristic so far is being a psychological abuser who psychologically torments SpongeBob for fun, playing a major role into SpongeBob's downward spiral. In Lies, he makes fun of Spongebob for pretending that Squidward is still alive in an attempt to deal with the latter's suicide. He does this not because he wants Spongebob to get over Squidward's passing but because it amuses him. In Bootleg Spongebob, he returns once again to continue mocking and emotionally abusing SpongeBob when the latter believes Gary is about to leave him for Patrick. In that same video, he calls Spongebob who was experiencing emotional distress, a "pathetic, Needy sponge", guilt-tripping SpongeBob into thinking that Gary dislikes him and that Gary thinks Patrick is better than him, which is not true after all. He cruelly shouts at SpongeBob at the end of his tirade, asking him if he understands how pathetic he sounds. He has received no onscreen repercussions for his actions, and it's shown onscreen that he has succeeded in psychologically tormenting SpongeBob, making him a Karma Houdini. It's also possible that after the video, he continues to drove SpongeBob much deeper into his downward spiral that he could have drove him the latter into suicide. Overall, despite appearing in two short videos, he can be considered the most hate-able and despised character within the VibingLeaf universe due to his personality and his tendency of pushing SpongeBob down into a deep downward spiral and possibly his suicide because it amuses him, with all of his actions being taken seriously. Even the other characters from VibingLeaf have at least one redeeming quality, from either being sympathetic and tragic such as Herobrine and 'That Man' or having a terrifying Evil is Cool presence such as the "Repaired" version of Jeff the Killer and the Wendigoon from The Grieving Re-Take, whereas the 'Lies' Fish lack any of these.

From the Spongebob creepypasta "Lies" Lies Fish appears as a giant orange goldfish with the Nickelodeon logo on its side. He made Spongebob go insane and then Spongebob killed all of his friends and then himself. He will expose the lies and reveal the truth, by driving you insane and revealing your true side...
