Backstory(Hans was born a female named Hilda who grew up in a heavily catholic family. He was often told to read scriptures from the bible at a very young age and was able to read an write at 12th grade level by the 5th grade. He had and still has a love for books, but his parents were worried he was straying too far from Catholicism by reading so many different genres. In the most confusing time of his life, his teenage years, he felt uncomfortable living so feminine. He felt uncomfortable being regarded to as a female and being called a sister and daughter. As Hans grew, he began cutting his hair and hiding it under hats. Hans started training his voice to be deeper and binding his chest. By the time he was 17, his parents noticed the changes and they freaked out. That day he told his mom and dad he went by Hans and not Helita, he was sent to conversion therapy though its taught in Catholicism that homosexuality is not reversible. Luckily halfway through the course the institution was shut down, but Hans still has lasting trauma. Now, he moved to Canada and lives on his own as a librarian and reads books to children there. Hans also advocates for gay children in oppressive religious homes.)
