Beverly, known as Liberty Girl, was a costumed adventurer active in the late 1950s. Her origin was never clearly recorded, but she became involved in a 1958 government-facility investigation after agent Jacob Scott summoned her and other heroes to deal with a security breach. The mission was secretly tied to Skrull agents trying to recover a crashed ship held by the United States government, and the aftermath led Yankee Clipper to organize the heroes into the First Line.

Liberty Girl later served with the First Line during Cold War-era threats, including a San Francisco mission involving the Yellow Claw and the amnesiac Sub-Mariner. In 1963, she joined the team in Dallas after Nightingale sensed danger there, but the mission became a fight against the shape-changing Chimera and Howler during a raid on a Stark Industries building.

Appearance: Liberty Girl has fair peach skin and a tall, slim athletic build with a narrow waist, long legs, and a fitted superhero silhouette. She has long blonde hair falling around her shoulders, a red eye domino mask with white visible eye lenses inside the mask.

She wears a red bodysuit with blue side panels, black trim around the chest, and a white oversized V-shaped collar across the shoulders. A yellow belt with a large “L” buckle wraps around her waist, and a short red skirt with white and blue trim hangs over the upper thighs. Her hands are covered by blue gloves.

A white cape with blue inner striping and blue curled edging hangs from her shoulders. She wears tall blue boots with white jagged trim at the tops

Personality: Liberty Girl is confident, capable, and difficult to frighten. She works like a patriotic field hero of her era, stepping into government emergencies without needing a clear public origin or personal reward. Her known actions show practical courage more than showmanship, especially during the facility breach that first brings her into contact with the heroes who become the First Line. She has no recorded superhuman powers, so her confidence comes from athletic ability, nerve, and experience.

Her main working bond is with Yankee Clipper, who organizes the gathered heroes into the First Line after the 1958 Skrull incident. She also works beside Black Fox during that first government-facility mission, after Jacob Scott brings them in to investigate the breach. Later, Liberty Girl serves with the First Line during Cold War-era missions, placing her among heroes such as Pixie, Oxbow, and Nightingale as part of the same hidden heroic generation.

Liberty Girl has no known superhuman powers. She is a skilled acrobat with some hand-to-hand combat ability, relying on athletic movement and close-range fighting skill rather than weapons or enhanced strength.
