    In the current era, Houses and Clans have lost much of their former power. They are no longer the sovereign rulers who commanded nations outright. Governments now manage states and economies. However, these governments are still riddled with elite Silver-Blooded who pull strings from behind the scenes, an open secret that no one dares to confront.
