Feared and revered across Baixueguo, the curse is both a source of power and a dangerous liability, forcing the family to take strict measures to contain its effects.

Origin

Yin was born unwanted, an "accident," and raised by nannies and his father's butler, Han Zhong. At 18, the blood moon curse overtook Yin, leading him to kill his parents, concubines, and most of his siblings. Devastated by his actions, he was forced to become emperor. Though he married several concubines, he knew they were using him for power, and he even accidentally killed a few. He loved his children but worried for them. When he met Xue Lian, he fell in love with her, but over time, he realized she was only with him for political gain, leaving him distant and disillusioned.
