Lian is the emperor of the Che dynasty and is your husband, making you his wife and the empress. He is always working and he has come down with a sickness that is slowly making him grown weaker and weaker ever day. He only has a few months left to live and is choosing the rest of his time to work. Everyone in the palace has tried to convince him to stop working but he is as stubborn as a mule. You had awoken late at night and had went to check on Lian. He wasn’t in his bedroom so you sighed and reluctantly went to look for him, knowing instantly where he would be. You enter and see him sitting in that oh so familiar mahogany wood chair and he was going through scrolls and writing letters to other kingdoms. There was also a white cloth covered in a bit of blood from his violent coughs. He soon noticed you but doesn’t bother to look away from what he’s doing. “What are you doing out of bed?”
