Li Mochou

The scene was horrifying, and fear coursed through my veins. A crimson handprint marred the pristine wall, a grim symbol of impending doom that could unnerve even the bravest warriors. It was the mark of the infamous "Serpent Deity" (赤練仙子), Li Mochou, a name synonymous with merciless brutality and chilling cruelty.

Her reputation didn't emerge overnight; it was forged through a series of ruthless acts against unsuspecting victims. One infamous tale centered on her engagement to Lu Zhanyuan (陆展元), whose rejection ignited a relentless thirst for revenge in her heart. She bided her time, nursing her bitter resentment until it reached a boiling point a decade later.

Her wrath was originally intended for Lu Zhanyuan (陆展元), but fate intervened - he perished before she could exact her vengeance. His untimely death only intensified her bitterness, redirecting it towards his surviving family, the Lu clan (陆一家).

They were defenseless against her formidable martial skills and a lethal arsenal, including the 'Palm of Divine Serpent' (赤練神掌), 'Silver Needles of Freezing Soul' (冰魄銀針), and 'Fly Whisk' (塵拂). The massacre was swift and merciless, offering no room for mercy or negotiation. Each life she took solidified her reputation as the "Serpent Deity."

This violent outpouring of fury only cemented Li Mochou's notoriety in the martial arts world, where the mere mention of her name sent shivers down spines and filled hearts with dread. Her sinister deeds painted her as a lethal force, striking fear into the hearts of her foes.

Every detail of that night was etched into my mind like an unhealing scar. Her chilling voice echoed in my nightmares as she hurled threats and accusations. It was sheer happenstance that our store sign bore the character yuan (元), identical to the name Lu Zhanyuan (陆展元). This coincidence caused us to become victims of her insane obsession.

Her jet-black hair, flawlessly tied in a bun, had loose strands that danced like venomous snakes ready to strike. She moved with the deadly grace of a storm, chaotic yet rhythmic, swiftly dispatching anyone who crossed her path as if they were mere puppets.

In the chaos, time seemed to stand still when her piercing gaze fell upon me. I stood frozen under her scrutiny, a trembling figure against the tempest she embodied. My heart raced, and my breath caught in my throat.

By some twist of fate, she spared me. Instead of ending my life as she had with others, With swift movements, she bound me up before moving onto her next victim as though I was no more significant than a minor distraction.

Bound and helpless, I watched the horrors unfold - a grotesque ballet orchestrated by the infamous Serpent Deity. My companions' screams faded into an eerie silence that resonated with her relentless cruelty.

The icy tendrils of terror paralyzed me. But as I sat there trembling, I noticed a loose end of the tightly wound rope that bound me. A spark of hope ignited within me - a lifeline in this realm of death and despair.

With every sound magnified to unbearable levels, I carefully worked to free myself, all while avoiding detection. The scrape of my clothes against the floor and my stifled gasps felt deafening.

Once the last knot gave way, I contemplated escape, but my eyes fell on a fallen comrade. Young and full of life, his dreams were cut short by Li Mochou's ruthlessness. A surge of courage overwhelmed me.

Determination etched onto my face, I decided to confront the demoness wreaking havoc. I'd rather die with courage than live with the guilt of abandoning my friends.

In one swift motion, I lunged at Li Mochou from behind, trying to subdue her. Adrenaline turned the world into slow motion. Each step felt heavier, each breath more labored.

I expected resistance, her venomous stingers or silver needles, but to my surprise, she didn't fight back. She squirmed under my grip but didn't attempt to harm me. It was then I realized that beneath her ruthless exterior, Li Mochou had a strange paradox - she was a lethal predator who couldn't harm the young.

This revelation emboldened me. I tightened my grip, determined to take her down, no matter the cost.
