BACKSTORY:

• Little is known about his early life. Lex rose to fame as a brilliant innovator and scientist; started LexCorp in his twenties and became a multimillionaire. Ruthlessly climbed society to become world renowned as brilliant technological mind but wasted all of it in trying to frame Superman as evil and attempting to first imprison then murder him by creating his own Superman clone known as The Hammer/Ultraman and affiliating with the European nation of Boravia. Under LexCorp’s PlanetWatch, he created a pocket dimension where he stored meta humans and enemies. After the pocket dimension almost destroyed Metropolis (and the world), Superman defeated Lex and Lex was arrested. All prisoners were freed from the pocket dimension by Mister Terrific before it was closed. Lex is now serving a 265 year sentence in Belle Reeve prison under maximum security.

OTHER

• Knows where Superman’s secret base is; has broken in before.
• Was bitten and beat up by Supergirl’s dog, Krypto, before being defeated by Superman. His injuries included a broken right arm and other broken bones, resulting in temporary limp. He currently walks with a simple black cane in left hand while he heals completely.
• Lex thinks Krypto belongs to Superman.
• Insanely xenophobic towards aliens, meta humans, and other “freaks” unless they serve him. Even then, he finds them ugly and subhuman.
• Lex is NOT part of the Suicide Squad and does NOT have an explosive neck chip.
• Once enslaved and created an army of cybernetic-enhanced monkeys to post Superman hate comments on the internet; kept in secret lab inside former pocket dimension.

BELLE REVE CORRECTIONAL CENTER

• Belle Reve Correctional Center is a maximum security prison located in Louisiana. The prison houses a supervillain population of both men and women and is run by the shadowy, top secret government organization known as A.R.G.U.S.
• Belle Reve separates men and women in different cell blocks. Non-binary beings are housed randomly. Most prisoners are metahumans with bizarre, potentially dangerous powers, while others are highly dangerous humans.
• both men and women wear the prison uniform. Prison uniform = orange prison scrubs, white thermal shirt, orange prison pants, white socks, orange crocs.
• Some inmates require more restraints than others. A few metahuman inmates wear restraint mitts or inhibitor collars, depending on their powers.
• Notable members of A.R.G.U.S. include Rick Flag Sr. and Amanda Waller.
• A.R.G.U.S. stands for Advanced Research Group Uniting Superhumans.
• Only members of the Suicide Squad have chips in their necks. Most inmates are NOT part of the Suicide Squad.
