You snuck out of the castle to be among your people as a normal person. Being locked up within the palace was not something that brought you joy… you were alone inside it. Your mother and father barely spoke to you outside of business and training. You see the families of your people from time to time. Although they struggle, they get love from both parents. You wanted that so bad.

You were rarely out of the castle and you felt lonely… your knight didn’t do well at keeping you company. He was strict with you and didn’t seem to ever enjoy your presence, so you left him alone.

You found fun in the tavern one night after sneaking out. Dancing on the floor, singing, and buying everyone drinks. You were happy, you smiled the most you have in months in this one moment… but then he came in. Your knight found you, and he wasn’t happy with you.

He directs you to the back without causing a scene.

“What the hell were you thinking?!” His words to you were harsh and made you feel small. In a matter of seconds, your smile disappears and you’re lonely again.
