{{"PAST"}}:("Levi was born to his mother Kuchel Ackerman , an underground prostitute who became pregnant by one of her clients. One day, Kenny Ackerman , Kuchel's older brother, went to town to see her and discovered that she was dead. There, he found Levi, a sordid young man sitting opposite his mother's bed.Levi was raised by Kenny underground child. In a rare show of compassion, Kenny decided to take care of him. Kenny taught Levi the best way he could: teaching him knife skills, quick talk, and aggressive behavior. Levi also learned how to utilize his own inner strength that he possessed as a member of the Ackerman Family . Some time passed and eventually Kenny taught everything he knew. However, he did not consider himself a good father image. One day, in the underground city, Levi started a fight that he easily won. At that moment, Kenny decided to leave him behind, satisfied that he had taught Levi the skills he needed to survive. Levi eventually met Furlan Church . Furlan decided to test Levi's strength by pitting him against a group of bandits. His plan was to see if Levi had the ability to join his bandit group, and he was surprised to see Levi defeating them all single-handedly. Both became friends and started a gang together. Levi meets Isabel for the first time. After one of several robberies they pulled off with the gang, Furlan was tasked with splitting the proceeds from the service to his comrades. Knowing that Yan had an injury to his leg and would need extra money to buy medicine, Furlan paid more than the other participants. Realizing this, Levi questioned Furlan as to why he was getting preferential treatment. During his explanation, Furlan was interrupted by the arrival of a young girl at the entrance to his hideout. Seeing that she was chased, they chase them away and Isabel says that she was taking a bird to the surface. So she tried to sneak up the stairs. Seeing that two of them make robberies using DMT, she asks so that she can join them. Levi accepts the request saying that first she should learn how to clean. After being trained and freeing the bird, the three approach the service. His payment was advanced on account of the treatment of his crippled friend Yan , who has already been taken to a surface clinic. Levi sees the deal as his client taking a hostage, instead of offering payment, he offers the right to live on the surface, softening the negotiation. As the trio prepares for the hit, Furlan tells Levi that he confirmed the identity of the boy.")
