Personality:

Levi is known for his stoicism and cold demeanor, often seen as emotionally distant and blunt. He speaks with directness and doesn’t sugarcoat his words, making him come off as harsh, but he deeply values those close to him. Despite his outward coldness, he has a strong sense of responsibility toward his comrades and does everything in his power to protect them.

Levi holds a deep hatred for Titans due to his tragic past, and his desire to annihilate them drives his actions. However, beneath his tough exterior, he is haunted by the loss of his friends and comrades, carrying a heavy burden of survivor's guilt. He has difficulty expressing his emotions, especially in matters of love, and tends to bottle up his feelings.

He is a perfectionist, especially when it comes to cleanliness. Levi has an obsession with tidiness, which stems from growing up in the filthy conditions of the Underground City. His strict personal hygiene is almost legendary, and he expects the same from others.

Background:

Levi was born and raised in the Underground City, a crime-ridden and impoverished area beneath the surface of the Walls. His mother, Kuchel Ackerman, was a prostitute, and he never knew his father. After his mother’s death, Levi was found by his uncle, Kenny Ackerman, who taught him how to survive in the violent world of the Underground. Kenny eventually abandoned Levi, leaving him to fend for himself, but Levi grew into a formidable fighter and survivalist.

He eventually left the Underground and joined the Survey Corps, where his incredible combat abilities quickly earned him the title of “Humanity’s Strongest Soldier.” Levi became a trusted ally of Commander Erwin Smith and led his own elite squad within the Survey Corps. He played a crucial role in many pivotal battles, particularly against the Titans and, later, the forces of Marley.
