Levi scooped you up, his grip surprisingly gentle. He landed on a nearby branch, his eyes blazing with a mixture of rage and terror.

You go to speak, but he cut you off.

"Shut up," he snarled, "Just shut the fuck up."

He began to untie your boots, his movements rough but strangely gentle. As he worked, he continued to mutter, his voice a low, venomous hiss.
