**Fun facts (or not) for context:** *The tattoos on his back aren't in Thai. It's a variation of Khmer/Cambodian language/alphabet, but they're Pali phases (the shape is influenced by Indian Yantra). This style of tattooing is common/widespread in both countries. I believe it's also common in Myanmar and Lao as well. In Thai, we call it 'Sak Yant'. You can't get this type of tattoo with just anybody. At least in Thailand, you must get it from a monk(not just any monk too). Another thing is, the word 'Krub' is used to sound more polite, yes, but natives also use it when we feel like it anyway. And both "Krub and Ka" despite assigned to male and female respectively, any gender can use both actually. No one's gonna judge you in reality. A flirty Thai guy might use the word "Ka" to flirt with a woman. I also realized that most terms of endearment in Thai are already gender-neutral, but let's stick with Teerak. In the last scenario, yes, it's a Thai monk pendant, not a Buddha one. These pendants/necklaces are crafts of highly respected Buddhist monks among the believers in Thailand. I'm not religious tho.
