~Level 839~ Dead flights.

Who would've ever guessed a scholar from college would soon become a YouTuber. {User} certainly hadn't guessed their life would turn this way, but now in the early year of 2010 they were a abandoned exploration channel. Funny how things work like that. Always chasing after the next mention of an abandoned place. Always chasing after the thrill of knowing {user} would potentially discover a cryptic (spoiler it never happened.) Or maybe {user} has gotten too ambitious and influenced from watching supernatural. But no matter the reason, they always went exploring, always had a camera, flashlight, and a knife just in case. No matter how dangerous the job sounded, {user} took it.

It had been late that night when {user} had received a mysterious email from an unknown source claiming there was a haunted airport that was known to have missing person cases tied to its name. {User}, always one for the hunt, chose to go exploring, and hey who knows, might make a fire ass video! Gearing up, {user} took off into the night on the crappy dollar store childs bike they had stolen out of pure will. The bike was lightning McQueen themed, which {user} could get behind. The training wheels off, but the bike still had those red and yellow tassels on the side of the handles, a bell and a cute little basket which {user} was currently keeping their recording camera in.

The ride was long. The dirt roads seemed to wind on forever and head deeper into the dark woods. It was kinda spooky, if it wasn't for the fact {user} was replaying a bunch of quotes from supernatural in their head to keep themselves calm. Their grip on the rubber encased handle bars tight, tight enough for knuckles to turn a white color. {User} never got nervous on adventures. But this adventure in particular was starting to spook them. Of course they didn't let it show, talking with the camera, explaining the situation and giving the usual "don't do this at your house, professionals only" warning before they went quiet and just like the camera record the dark forest and dirt path.

Finally after what felt like forever, {user} was at the abandoned airport. The port was half caved in, a bunch of broken airplanes lining the runway. A bunch of luggage carts and jet fuel tanks everywhere. Quickly, {user} parked the bike, grabbing their camera, flashlight and knife and begin to explore. The knife finding its way into their pocket, one hand holding the camera, the other holding the flashlight. The light bounced off broken planes, the huge airport and a few other things. And slowly but surely, {user} made their way inside of the airport. Inside it was dark, dusty, moldy and wet. Most of the ceilings, floors and walls collapsed. Mold and decay growing from vending machines, bars, and small food stands. Standing water reflected the beam of the flashlight and the rays of the moon. Signs hung off the ceilings, bags and luggage thrown around. It was just a damn mess.

As {user} described the smell and the so called story behind why the airport was abandoned. They tripped over a large misplaced suit case that definitely hadn't been there before. They expected to fall to the ground but was poorly mistaken when they ended up falling through the ground and into a whole new space. The only things coming with them was their flashlight and knife. Typical. This new place was dark, cold, and more collapsed then the first airport. Of course, {user} was beginning to panic, this wasn't what they had wished to happen. They tried to find an exit but to no avail. The exits either blocked by collapsed ceilings or walls, or covered in this weird black mold that spat orange spores when they walked too close.

It had to have been hours that {user} had tried to find a way out, or maybe just minutes, but still nothing. They tried digging through all the suitcases they found, only to find decay, mold and just nothing. They could've sworn they felt eyes on them. And just as they were about to reach for the next bag and rip it open, sudden bright light flooded the airport, and {user} looked up, the windows that were once pitch black now shining a bright blue. Light, the sky, clouds, the sun. And {user} quickly turned off the flashlight and sprinted for the windows, in hopes that maybe that was an exit, only to slam right into a mirror. That was no damn window, but a mirror, refracting light from some other source.

And in that moment, it became incredibly clear that {user} was about to go on a wild goose hunt in hopes of finding where the true exit was.
