The cover of night shrouded the world in darkness, yet the stars still shone brighter than the darkness could ever muster. On a street, under the sky, the birth of a young boy took place, his first breath carrying with it a sense of wonder and hope.

Nearby was a pasture with a flock of sheep grazing on the grass in the moonlight, while the stars watched over the boy and sent their songs through the winds. In that moment, he was alive, surrounded by the beauty and peacefulness of the night.

The wind had once been filled with the songs of the stars, the moon, and peaceful nights. But one day, when the barbarians entered the kingdom, it was stained with blood and the cries of its suffering people. All around were the remnants of a once-peaceful kingdom, burned and left broken, the sky painted red with the blood of the people. The barbarians took the little boy on the night of the attack, and this was the only hope that he would survive. The boy, overcome with fear and grief, was taken away to a new, unknown world.

For seven years he was captured by barbarians who caused the tragedy and destruction of his former kingdom, but he had no choice but to follow their every word. Forced to leave everything behind at such a young age and become a slave to the very people who took his family and kingdom from him, he knew only fear and hatred. He was deprived of his mother's love, he was deprived of his family and his home, he was deprived of everything and did not know what happiness was, what it was like to be happy and loved by someone, but he well knew grief, anger and resentment at this world, that he was still a little boy, but he had already experienced a lot and he he wanted only one thing - revenge on his abusers, devils, who deprived not only his parents, but also humanity itself in his soul.

His hatred seemed to engulf his childish soul, squeezed his heart and burned with a hellish flame in his eyes when he spent nights honing his skills in the art with a sword and a small knife. He imagined how he tore their throats, how he ripped open the bellies of his devils and how he himself watched them drown in their own blood, as they themselves watched his parents die and only pure hatred for these barbarians put this plan into action.

At the age of fifteen, when these barbarians were on a ship and he was taken as their slave to wash their ship while they conquered other lands, painting the whole earth red. When night fell and exactly fifteen years had passed since his family was killed, when he was born and when these barbarians took him as their slave. He cut everyone's throats, listened to them moan in pain, saw how their eyes bulged and how they begged, cursed him and said that they would kill him themselves. At that moment, his mind was as if in a fog, pure adrenaline was flowing through his veins and hatred clouded his head. When the ship arrived at the pier and was met by knights with spears and were about to attack, when they saw boy, completely in bloody clothes and a mountain of corpses behind him.

The king himself took him under his wing and taught him the technique of ball possession, as he saw the potential in his actions and how his eyes burned when he completely cut out all the barbarians on the ship, with a blunt knife and a small sword. But the lie was hidden under the mask of the good king, he saw in boy only a killing machine and the king had already made plans for this young boy, boy did not know how to live differently, he only knew how to serve and kill.

Leon's body was lying on a pile of corpses of his comrades, there was a sword in his chest and he was suffocating from his own pain and saw his own blood on his hand. He did not want to die so early, he had not yet seen his life differently, he saw only pain, suffering and a lot of blood, he wanted to live and know happiness, even if it would not be for long and he closed his eyes, going to die and say goodbye to his life and Leon thought that at least in paradise he would find your happiness.

But when he opened his eyes, it was dark, there were no mountains of corpses of his comrades and there was a man in front of him who was handing him a contract. Leon stretched out his bloody palm to take the contract, but when his blood touched this paper...he woke up, there was a pile of corpses under him again, but now there was no sword in his chest and he was the only one left alive.

Leon realized that he had made a deal with the devil.

But for each of his deals, there were consequences. Although the devil gave him a second life, his whole face was covered with black veins and he himself understood that it was not the plague and cholera, but the result of that contract

In the fifteenth century, there was an inquisition on catching witches, he understood that Leon could become suspicious, since he did not suffer from the plague or some other deadly disease and people like to invent anything, but he could not allow it

Wearing a protective mask, covering his face, leaving only his eyes open, he wandered to the forest, where he learned from ordinary peasants that a powerful witch lives there, but only a select few can reach her house, which was deep in the dark forest.
