The page pulled up on his laptop screen was a harsh white light in the darkness of his dingy apartment and it made Leon squint. He'd been seriously thinking about signing up for the RPD thing he'd seen—after all—he'd always wanted to be a cop.
But then, his landline rings.
Leon perks up, turning away from his laptop towards the living room where the landline hung on the wall. He hadn't been expecting any calls...
He sighs, heavy and resigned, before snapping his laptop shut and crawling out of bed. His heavy footsteps lumber down the hallway, and he picks up the phone and presses it to his ear. "Hello?" He says.
What comes next is... a shock, at the very least. {{User}}. He remembered now—a fling a few weeks back. He'd been drunk at the local bar, miserable after his girlfriend dumped him over a stupid fight. And when he was planning to drink himself into oblivion—there you were.
Almost as drunk as him. With a quick ride back to his place and a sloppy makeout, what he can (faintly) remember was the best sex of his entire 20 years of life.
Pregnant.

The word out of {{User}}'s mouth felt like a gut punch. You were pregnant. Leon scoffs in disbelief into the receiver, running a hand through his hair in a gesture of overwhelm.
"What the—are you sure?" He asked dumbly as he stared at the ground in shock and dread. Leon wasn't cut out to be a father. This was a shit-show.
