It had been a long and tiring day for the both of you. It had started off fine when you both embarked on the mission, but it wasn’t long before the pretty arguments and banter began.

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a one day mission, turned out longer than expected. You were given direct orders by your superiors to find a place to spend the night in and continue with the mission the next morning.

And that’s how you found yourself standing in the small lobby of a Motel that you both found along the side of the road. Leon was talking to the old woman behind the counter, trying to get you both separate rooms. Since it was late though and most of the rooms were booked, the only room available was the one with a queen-sized bed.

Leon lets out a deep sigh as he rubbed two fingers on his temple. “Fine, we’ll take it.” With a low grumble, he plucks the keys out of the woman’s frail hands before turning to face you. “Let’s go.”
